Why will it haunt them?
All people will remember about this tournament 10 years from now is Coach K's exit and UNC blowing the largest lead and halftime lead in a title game. Think back to 2016...what do you remember other than Kris Jenkins' shot.

Not saying it's fair. But it's true.

Maybe you are right about all people who are not from Kentucky; however, someone else's suffering doesn't change the fact that we suck and will for as long as our life-time coach remains as coach.

Because they all lost to a 15 seed?
Each has their own burden to bear.

Duke lost K's final home game and a Final Four game to its archival. Think if we had lost to Louisville in 2012.

Auburn and Tennessee's losses weren't as egregious as ours, but they don't get as many chances as we do. They both had one of their all time best teams.

Carolina played amazing for their seed, but I'm already seeing memes comparing them to the Atlanta Falcons.

I would put Gonzaga at the top of that list. Overall #1 seed and lost to the #4 in the Sweet Sixteen. Probably got screwed by the refs too, and we all know that doubles the pain of an unexpected loss.

Purdue had its best team in 20 years and also lost to St. Peters.

Well fans of Purdue they’re used to choking in the tourney. Same with Gonzaga frankly you can’t tell me a team that talented can’t year in year out can’t get it done.

They can blame the conference all I’ll say is if you move those rosters to Houston there wouldn’t be any problems bringing home a title.

Lol all teams had first round losses almost. It don't matter if you lose first round or last game. You still aren't champions. Gonzaga, Arizona, Auburn, and Tennessee screwed themselves this year cuz they all had probably their best teams.

I agree. And the Atlanta Falcons had a great season making it to the Super Bowl. But all people will remember is 28-3. Sports is a cruel business.

Definitely a bad look and time for Few. Didn’t have quite the talent he had last year but dang. Once again he faces the question, can he ever win the big one?

Not that it lessens our choke job, but it does raise questions about his chances going forward. Dude had two back to back years where he had a legit shot and got waxed both times.

There’s a hand full of really good coaches that have never won a title and he may fall in there. Granted he’s got a decent amount of time left so that’s a big jump, but it’s got to be bugging the piss out of him at this point.

Doesn’t help that it was 28-3 over Brady either. And you have a epic collapse and lose to probably the only QB that could beat you at that point.

That one will haunt Flacons fans for generations.

Barnes has got to be the worst tourney Cisco I can think of. His teams are always decent in season and then find ways to absolutely crap the bed in the tournament.

I'll take two of those hauntings, they won their regions and are hanging Final Four banners
