Coaches, players and fans want to play. It's the PC ***** Presidents and A.Ds that have no sack.
Ya might as well finish it.Yes, the pussification of America grows daily.
The excuse I heard today on the radio was that one or two B1G players who tested positive had EKG signs of myocarditis. What they didn't say was that IF they ran EKGs on every player who had influenza, they would likely see similar EKG changes. In addition, a large percentage of athletes, especially those who do heavy weight training, have abnormal EKGs due to the hypertrophy of the heart muscle. I don't believe they can determine accurately the difference between abnormal EKG due to hypertrophy from one caused by myocarditis. An associate of mine used to read EKGs for the Huskers many years ago. At that time he said roughly 60% of the football team had what was considered an "abnormal EKG" even though they were perfectly normal.Yes, the pussification of America grows daily.

how much long term value does this cost the b1g?
it looks really bad.
i think theyre overlooking this.
plus, how many kids are going to enter the portal...?
we couldve started the season see how it went and pull the plug later...the cat was outta the bag long ago.
Canceling so close to Corey McKeon Day would be the cruelest blow of all.

How will they handle the lawsuits if someone gets it in their 20 hr a week workouts? They aren’t weighing the cost of liability if someone was to get a heart problem (potential lawsuit) versus the overall cost to their business.

Oh, I'm suing the crap out of someone next time I get the Flu. They'll have to prove they didn't infect me, so there will be dozens if not hundreds of people named as co-conspirators. Its time for justice to be served on people that get sick and then give it to someone else.I also love the "lawsuits" one...Could you imagine trying to prove where someone got infected? Good lord.
That’s what is the most disappointing thing to me. Medical information should be shared by peers across state lines and across Conferences FFSespn just had an imformative article on wuhan flu myocard. and what is known, frequency, how it's being treated. fairly forthcoming on who, what and where. at this time the Big coming out with unamed health experts leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth. for cryin out loud name yourself and what you know. others have done so all over the country. some cases were very serious and others seemed iffy at this time.

You now have f’ing twitter wars between doctors disputing heart conditions related to C19 just like the article you’re referencing
I suppose that if you’re the BIG and the majority of your medical people are telling you one thing you’ve got to roll with that
But the whole thing comes across as a power play, political strategy for upper crust administrators to save their own *** instead of doing their due diligence
There shouldn’t be any urgency to make this decision on August 11th especially considering all the “unknowns” that the BIG had
To me it’s an embarrassing display of leadership and comes across as shooting from the hip with students moving back onto campuses this very week
I enjoyed the countdown, thanks for doing itOur daily countdown of the best Husker players by the numbers since Warren has officially sold out the conference for his own sanctimonious and narcissistic reasons.
The taxpayers will bail them out. We've seen this movie before with Wall Street, Boeing, the airline industry. et cetera.None of them better come begging for money when the networks pull out of their deals and the conferences come up short of funds. When the time comes that the bed welters start feeling this, and it’s coming, they need to feel it to full effect. Let them drown
Add Chevy Chrysler and New York City. Unfortunately you are correctThe taxpayers will bail them out. We've seen this movie before with Wall Street, Boeing, the airline industry. et cetera.
Unfortunately when I first saw the story that jlb trumpeted about a 325lb. true freshman offensive lineman that MIGHT have myocarditis, I figured that would be the tipping point for them to pull the plug. Wuflu myocarditis isn't any more dangerous than influenza myocarditis.espn just had an imformative article on wuhan flu myocard. and what is known, frequency, how it's being treated. fairly forthcoming on who, what and where. at this time the Big coming out with unamed health experts leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth. for cryin out loud name yourself and what you know. others have done so all over the country. some cases were very serious and others seemed iffy at this time.
Well in workouts they are social distancing and practicing preventative measures. In actual football games and practices they are in close contact with each other yelling and screaming etc. without any protection. How will they handle the lawsuits if someone gets it in their 20 hr a week workouts?
blind guides. you strain your water so you wont swallow a nat, but you swallow a camel. that pretty much sums it up.Unfortunately when I first saw the story that jlb trumpeted about a 325lb. true freshman offensive lineman that MIGHT have myocarditis, I figured that would be the tipping point for them to pull the plug.
