A very wise man once said "Never underestimate the stupidity of the American voter."

As I said in a post the other day, the country is built to survive regardless who wins except for one power and that is the nuclear football the President has complete control over. Lets hope Trump handles that responsibility appropriately. I also posted that it is important Americans can wake up and look at themselves in the morning in the mirror and feel comfortable with their vote. Personally, I have an opinion there will be buyer's remorse over the next year and it will continue. We will see.

That was me! (maybe I stole it from someone, don't remember). And truer words have never been spoken. This is probably the biggest con-job ever perpetrated on the American people. Gullible American people. And there are a helluva lot of them. I'm just hopeful that Trump reverts back to his liberal ways since he used these white racists to get his revenge on Obama. On a personal note, I guess I'll be paying less taxes. So there's that. And I saw where Putin was falling all over himself. So the Russians are happy. It should be an entertaining 4 years. Hopefully he can't *** it up too bad.

Well, he has a GOP house and senate to work with, so he shouldn't have any problem moving things through. So we should get an idea pretty soon where his ideas will really lead us.

I don't know. I'm an optimist by nature so i will say I hope so. I said a year ago and repeated it several times that Trump was safer than Cruz for the country . I hope I was correct with that statement

I opposed Trump loudly and often both here and in public, you guys getting going ballistic about Hilly-Bob losing need to calm down a hair. Politics are the biggest game that there is and sometimes you get smacked in the face by an unexpected result. Moan, holler and wallow for a day then get to work on making sure he doesn't get re-elected in 2020.

I was a Type-A that worked myself into a stroke about a decade ago. When life runs you over you get up, dust yourself off, and start working for the future. There's nothing you can do about the truck that just hit you. The election isn't the way we wanted it to turn out, but the sun came up and we're all still breathing. Survive and thrive.

On the lighter side, do you think Trump and Raese ever get into over who has got the prettiest pink marble driveway in Palm Beach?

That's how many felt in 2000, 2004, 2008 and 2012.

I still feel comfortable with my votes.
