While listening to yesterday's game on the Radio, there were several ads that Moes is offering $1 off burritos on Sunday for every touchdown scored. So I downloaded the Moes app, as instructed in the ad and went to the Moes in Somerset today, thinking I would get $5 off lunch.

No such luck. The promotion is only good at participating Moes, and apparently the Moes 4 miles from campus is not participating. The guy behind the counter said he thinks the only participating location is in the Rutgers Student Center. He tried to offer me a "Scarlet Burrito" for $5, but that really isn't the same as $5 off a burrito as advertised. I sort of felt like it was a bait and switch tactic. So I walked out and deleted the Moes app from my phone.

Has anyone been successful in taking advantage of the Moes promotion outside the Moes at the Student Center?

I'm pretty sure the Moes in Hamilton in Mercer county on rt 33 honors the deal. They have block Rs in the entrance.

Central Jersey is the one true Jersey.

At least you got out of eating at Moes. That saved a trip to the bathroom.

Aside from the participating location aspect, Could have sworn someone said or posted that you had to have the app set up already prior to the game for it to register the promotion in The system. (Not sure since I never did it)

I've had the app loaded for months and did not get a notification for a discount based upon this game. I did get one for the home game where we scored over 5 touchdowns.

Apparently you need to have the app open at least on gameday, or during the game for the deal to trigger if the parameters are met.
