So we're forfeiting Friday, it seems. Foster won't make it out of the 2nd. Maybe not even the first.Foster/Tito/Duke
I think they just know he has the talent and are asking him to step up. We need him to eat some innings while Ryan is out.Foster must pitch lights out during practice and warm-ups.

Our bats can mash any and all of Reb pitching. Elliott is good since his return from injury but he is not dominate the way he had been. Townsend is their be SP. Reb bats are nothing w/o HR's and there won't be many of those Saturday and Sunday.Interesting. Not saying we're conceding Friday, but we're definitely setting it up to win Saturday and Sunday,.
That could happen. This is a challenge to him. And, at the end of the day, that can happen to any of the others we were going to throw, also.Definitely need him to figure it out. He's for sure got talent.
What I fear is his typical control problems leading to walks and then he grooves one trying to find the plate and let's Ole Miss do the thing they're good at. Not a good recipe.
I think Valincius gave a max effort vs Vandy and coach didn’t want to push him a day up… could see him being Saturday Starter next week as well(even though series starts on Thursday vs UGA)So we're forfeiting Friday, it seems. Foster won't make it out of the 2nd. Maybe not even the first.
I realize our situation has changed for the moment, but Tomas in that Saturday role has been lethal. Hopefully Foster or a dark horse can emerge over the next few weekends. We have had guys do it before.I think Valincius gave a max effort vs Vandy and coach didn’t want to push him a day up… could see him being Saturday Starter next week as well(even though series starts on Thursday vs UGA)
I'd say we are rolling the dice on game one, and otherwise holding our position.I realize our situation has changed for the moment, but Tomas in that Saturday role has been lethal. Hopefully Foster or a dark horse can emerge over the next week weekends. We have had guys do it before.
I agree. This will be the best offensive line he’s probably ever seen in his career. I have confidence we can hit any pitcher. Our bats can mash any and all of Reb pitching. Looking on the positive side, with every challenge there is an opportunity. If someone steps up for us we could come out of this way stronger than we would have been had this not happened.Who's the pitcher that finally put it all together against OM a few years ago that kept him in the rotation the rest of the season?
Or am I thinking of Girodo out of the bullpen, and it wasn't a starter at all?
Well he's made it 4 and pitched well enough for it to be only 1-0. SUCCESS so far.So we're forfeiting Friday, it seems. Foster won't make it out of the 2nd. Maybe not even the first.
Lucas Laster?Who's the pitcher that finally put it all together against OM a few years ago that kept him in the rotation the rest of the season?

For sure. He made me look dumb. I'm glad he did!!Well he's made it 4 and pitched well enough for it to be only 1-0. SUCCESS so far.
Joke's on me! Now we're set up great to take the series! Hats off to the coach and team!I think Valincius gave a max effort vs Vandy and coach didn’t want to push him a day up… could see him being Saturday Starter next week as well(even though series starts on Thursday vs UGA)
Charlie Foster was incredible, good job kid you deserve all the praise.
