I hate Michigan and Notre Dame. If only there was a way for them both to lose...with that being said, I think Michigan beats ND like a rented Mule. Shea Patterson is the real deal at QB.

This all depends on whether or not Michigan's O-Line has vastly improved. If they still cannot run block or pass protect, then Tom Brady couldn't win against decent competition. We shall soon see though, but weather is also going to be a factor, as it's supposed to rain Saturday night.

I had picked Northwestern. Then yesterday around noon, ESPN says their starting qb will not be starting so I switched to Purdue.
Then, guess who trots out on the field to start the f’ucking game? Their normal starter.

Four players tied at 11 correct picks with 2 games left on the slate for the 1st week of Pick 'em.
Back from the game, great showing by the team and the fans in Charlotte. I'd guess the crowd was very close to a 50/50 split. Most of the TN fans didn't stay for Country Roads, some did though and I think they may have actually enjoyed it.
Good fan base, they need to be patient. My guess, 5-7 for them but 6-6 not impossible.

Three things I've learned in addition to the two things you learned.
1. Quit picking against a school cause you hate the school-see Meat Chicken over Notre Dame.
2. Don't ever pick Colorado State-they suck and it's embarrassing.
3. Kevin Sumlin can't coach unless Johnny Manzel is winning a Heisman with great WRs or playing an opponent with a backup qb.
Given my picks so far, I'd be feeling good if I was a Cajun or Criminole fan.
That's more of a shocker to me than Maryland over Texas. Sad thing is it shouldn't be. For my pick on this game, the media sold me on Miami. They trounced LSU with 2 QBs transferring out in a day and kept saying "the U is back."
I don't believe Mark Richt can ever coach a top team. Kirby Smart went as far in one year as Richt did his entire time at UGA.
Only @triplepotts had LSU as a pick, clubhouse leader, but the chance for others still there. 14 of 18 players mathematically eliminated.

XGUNNX had 54 points for the tie-breaker, but only had 8 correct picks. So are you saying that the score pick is a bonus win going to that person or to be used as a tie-breaker?
EX: tripplepotts won with 13 correct and XGUNNX had the correct/closest score but had 8 correct. So does XGUNNX really get 9 wins? Essentially there is no tie-breaker in this case. Or is this only to be used for players who tie and then give the closest one the extra win?
Let me know the intent and I'll score it.

I was thinking maybe score it as a bonus win for the season tally. That's the good thing about Pick'm-no real set rules and me and you can make it up as we go along since we're the only 2 putting work into this thing.

By EX I meant "EXAMPLE". So basically use my discretion as either an extra win for the week or to be used as an extra win as a tie-breaker based on the necessity.
Congrats @triplepotts , fun week for the opener, and it only goes UP from here!
