I've seen both teams this year and I have a few observations:
Osmond's shotgun and pistol sets should be effective but I think their I set will struggle. This isn't to say that they won't be able to run, just that they will probably need to do it from a spread to open up the lanes. CWC flies to the ball pretty quick which I've seen exploited with spread concepts against them.
Osmond has more depth at skill positions. Osmond rotates out backs and receivers when they change sets, but CWC rotates linemen in and out with the play calls and skill positions generally stay in. Osmond distributes the ball arou d a lot while CWC really revolves around their backfield tandem.
Osmond has seemed soft at times against off tackle runs which I have seen CWC using on offense.
Osmond has Max Frank who mauls on both sides of the ball, him alone could wear down CWC and expose the depth advantages I believe Osmond has.
CWC can flip the field on punts and every kickoff is a touchback. Osmond will need to expect to sustain a 65 yard drive every time they have the ball.
Kind of an X factor thought here. I noticed watching Osmond some center exchange problems in the I. Stats on maxpreps support this. I bet anything CWC will be watching and keying on it up front.
Overall I don't think I could predict it. It will just be a treat to watch.
