Week 5 just for fun picks

I'd like to first address the glaring oversight in my picks from last week, one that I was so graciously (it was a text with multiple inappropriate words) reminded of by Hemingford assistant coach Taryn Wood. How could I forget about the team that literally gave me nightmares in 2013-14 with that run away train of a juggernaut they had!? I sincerely apologize Coach Wood! We lost to them 42-6 in 2013 and a coach they faced in the playoffs called me and said how the heck did you keep it that close with them? I said it was easy...have a thunderstorm roll in midway through the 2nd quarter and call the game after a three hour delay haha! All that to say this...Hemingford over Morrill by more than 42-6...Coach Wood enjoys a stogie overlooking Lake Titykaka while moving to 5-0.

Sorry about that rant, lets move on...

Class B - Norris over Lincoln Pius X... Jimmy Motz loves Hawaii football as much as I have confidence in this pick. Oh, he's a diehard!

Class C2 - Lincoln Lutheran over Raymond Central... My dad was the head basketball coach at RC in the early 80s and coached former husker Mark Blazek. Problem is, RC doesn't have any Mark Blazek's suiting up this week.

Class D1 - Bloomfield over Wausa/Osmond... Because Don Hagge said so!

Class D2 - FCSH over HTRS... SACRED HEART GETS THE WIN IN THE BATTLE OF THE CAPITAL LETTERS BOWL.

- Mullen over Hyannis... I absolutely LOVE the Highway 2 views driving through Hyannis but my former assistant Bo J. Cribelli teaches at Mullen and If I picked against them he'd never ride the High Roller in Vegas with me again!

Class D6 - Southwest over Wallace... Yes, I picked them last week and yes, Billeter kid is still gooood. But, guess what, he gets more help this week with the return of an injured teammate who Drew Billeter says is also goooood! That's a lot of o's, just sayin.

I agree on that C2 game, but Wyatt Jelinek is a pretty damn good QB for the Mustangs. Not sure they've had many like him in a long long time.

Norris over Pius isn't even a guess. That's a 20 point game. Who do you have in McCook? I'll take Gering over the Bison in a close.

I'll also take Bloomfield over Wausa-Osmond. Bees might have something special up there.

I would have picked Bloomfield over W-O too even though W-O has some athletes on their team. I would have thought it would have been closer than what it was regardless.
