Alright everyone, it's anything goes again this week so throw whatever sounds good on the grill. I haven't made up my mind yet, but I'm leaning towards some Octoberfest and good ol' burgers and fries this weekend.

Post a description, at least one pic of the finished product, and keep your entry/pics within the same post. That's it. Winner will be judged by most upvotes, and the final tally will be Sunday evening.

Good luck, and I really hope this Leach team is better than we showed last week. At this point, they didn't do a thing against LA Tech to convince me that my preseason prediction of disappointment will be proven wrong.

LA Tech - Anything goes (Winner - klc90)
NC State - Anything goes
Memphis - Pulled pork and/or ribs
LSU - Cajun
A&M - Beef
Bama - Anything goes
Vandy - Anything goes
Kentucky - Chicken, bourbon
Arkansas - Pork
Auburn - Seafood
TN State - Anything goes
OM - No contest (Thanksgiving)

Two 17n soccer games in Foley tomorrow at 8:45 and 3:45. I’m already tired of this ********. I guess it will be whatever we pick up on the way back and bourbon for me.
Night Court to all you grill jockeys tomorrow, I’ll be jealous.

Seinfeld I can get the prize this round if you like.

Chicken wings on the Weber kettle using the BBQ vortex. Going simple and quick this weekend.

Thanks mc. JoeLee also offered to throw in a Dude koozie at some point, so hopefully we can spread things around as we go. I’ll go ahead and offer another bottle of Meat Church this weekend, I’ll take Joe Lee up on his offer of a Dude koozie for Memphis, and then I’ll let you handle LSU weekend if that works

I'm keeping it simple this week with bacon, beer cheese, and grilled onion burgers, waffle fries, and Sam Adams Octoberfest. I am a little proud of the minor upgrade I made this morning to my RT-700, though

Yep, a Diamond Dave’s vinyl wrap. The only catch is that they can eventually start to show some discoloration if you get over 400, but I never do that with my smoker. I have a Weber for searing and high temp cooks.

I know I said this when you pitched the idea, but this is a really cool thread/contest. I may mess around and throw some pics in the mix. If I were to ever win anything, I’ll donate it to Le Bonheur or another poster on here. I just think it’s a cool idea.

I don’t like a ton of binders - all crab. Little bread crumb, egg, Mayo, Dijon, and lemon.

Chance for redemption if that's a gigantic sheet of corn bread flipped upside down.

It certainly feels like PBRME for the win... But we seriously have to know what Ruckus is serving that steak and asparagus on before declaring a winner? It looks like it might be a thin velvet robe cut to perfectly fit a pan shaped like a booster chair tray. Seriously WTF is it?

"I'll have the filet topped with a crab cake and the grilled asparagus please.... But i am going to need you to serve it on a soft piece of brown microsuede."

I’m very confused and have no idea what y’all are referencing. I really wish I had some smart *** response but I have no idea what is going on.
Are you talking about my plate? It’s just a plate.

What is the food sitting on? Your steak and asparagus Looks like it's on something brown and soft, not a plate. It could be a trick my color blind eyes are playing, but it looks like a place may or something.

Can you do me a favor and post a picture of the plate by itself? It's messing with my head. Consider it a favor returned for the koozie. I lost sleep last night wondering.

It's 17ing with my head so bad... I feel like the kid staring at the poster at the mall and everyone else sees a space shuttle and all I can see is white noise.

I cannot explain how crazy this looks in my mind right now. I see what looks like a thick piece of brown velvet or felt on a thin metal pan. I even see little marks in the velvet where the grain is turned the other way. I have a decent amount of OCD and this is eating me up right now...

I need another picture of Ruckus's plate. It's torture...

Not an entry that will win, but figured “why not?”.

We moved into a new place 2 weeks ago. Finally have a decent porch with a TV, etc. I got a Roku hooked up and RedZone on, so might as well smoke something. This is about as simple as it gets.

in moving, my wife stumbled upon this cook book she bought years ago and just unearthed from a box.

Just took it off the smoker so we shall see. As you can see, this is about as basic as you can get, but I followed the recipe, other than using a little White Lightening rub and substituted Crystal instead of Tabasco of course.

Should have submitted the game day chili we cooked yesterday. It was awesome. The game day chili tradition started in ‘14 with the Auburn game I believe. It became a superstition so we kept it up(kind of) even after the Bama game…

Right now I’m busy trying to find a serving platter that will mind **** JoeLeesSocks.

Seinfeld, a ReqTec is on my short list. Gotta know how you did that.

Congrats PBRME on a very narrow victory over Hotmop this week. I really need to stop drinking too much during our games and completely forgetting to post pics in my own contest.

Anyway, be thinking about what variety of Meat Church seasoning that you’d like, and I’ll be in touch to get shipping info soon.

Hope everybody’s ready for a pulled pork and ribs showdown this weekend

Nice work PBRME, ribs are my go to so it's on next week.

This is a great addition to the pack. I probably posted more in the thread than I have in 15 years as a member of sixpack.

My Kamado Joe is in a storage unit a 2 hour drive away. The highway between is under construction and closed from 10:00am until 3:00 pm Monday-Friday as they blast the mountains to widen the road.

So to participate, I am going to get up Wednesday morning, drive 2 hours and run errands all day in the city, load up that 250lbs son of a ***** into an f-250 by myself. Drive back another 2+ hours and put Humpty Dumpty together on my back porch.

I may not win, but I am going to put more damn work in than anyone this week. It's on.
