haha..Classic Iowa and KF...playing that QB battle and the fans and media like a fiddle with this nonsense. Just pick one already and give them all the 1 reps in practice this week and the reigns for Game 1.

Maybe it should've said Heck/OR Brown...:)

At the bottom it says “Positions listed with OR are ordered numerically”

Still might be Heck, guess we’ll have to wait for tomorrow’s press conference.

Welp, another day of waiting. Doubt Kirk will let everyone know who gets the first snaps tomorrow, but we will see.

Sounds like Iowa SID saying not to read anything into who's listed first in the "OR" categories as they listed the lower numbers first.

Not a great feeling about the K position, really thought that was going to be locked up. Assuming Buhr has the accuracy figure, but didn't look like the strongest leg at kids day.

Aaron Blom won the kicker job in 2022 until Stevens overtook him after the ISU game. This has a little bit of that feeling to it. We'll see.

It may be different if we were playing a team with a pulse game 1

I would just alternate them every quarter. Then go back and do a full eval post game
I'd make it really interesting and change QB's every possession just to ensure a complete lack of rhythm by either one. Flip a coin and then the first guy to score a TD wins the job. 😃

Evidently the smoke from camp that Vitti was really impressing was true. In the two deeps as a true freshman......

Only 6 "seniors" on the 2 deeps, so that could be an exciting thing for next season as well. (I know, why look ahead when this season hasn't even started but I couldn't help but notice that)
Given the trajectory and schedule, etc, you are spot on, the '26 season could be a run up to something special next season but don't want to wish time away.

I was praying to God for the "or".
We all know KF would rather lose a game with an inferior QB than suffer a "QB controversy".

Maybe, just maybe, Cignetti and our new AD convinced him that 7 wins at Iowa isn't equivalent to a national title at a blueblood.

One thing is for sure, if either QB is equal in ability to Gronowski, we are guaranteed 10 wins, and a real shot at a CFP berth. Let them show what they can do with live bullets and then pick the one who stands out!!
