Announcing Wednesday:
Cam Taylor - N
Andre Hunt - N
Maurice Washington - N- Live on ESPN
Willie Canty - N
Calob Tannor - N
Otito Ogbonnia -
Taiyon Palmer -
Jarrett Bell - Live on ESPN
Ken Montgomery - N - Not sounding as promising as yesterday
Jalan Robinson - N if Bell and Canty go elsewhere

No set date to announce, but probably Wednesday:
Javontae Jean-Baptiste - OSU
*****EDIT: Looking more and more like Canty and Tannor are N. With Canty N, me thinks Robinson is out.

Have we ever had a great signing day when over half of the players announcing that day with us in their top 3 or 4 actually picked Nebraska? I don't recall.

We for sure get 5 of those kids on Wednesday. Would be so awesome to get 7 or 8 like the coaches want. Great first class for Frost regardless.

Hard to read some of the kids. Rumors about some additional silent commits. Hope they are actually true. We thought we had WR Fitzpatrick back in the 2016 class, only to have him sign with Louisville.

Wednesday can't get here soon enough! Anyone going to be "sick" that day?

I love your enthusiasm, but we have been left at the alter so many times the last few years, I've become a bit jaded. That could change Wednesday.....

If Bell buys a pair of nice boots and a parka and sends notice that he's N, do we take both him and Canty? Or is it one or the other? FWIW, Canty lives one hour's drive from West Palm Beach. Did he #cold?

I love your enthusiasm but I believe I've read that we have 4 spots left to fill and I believe their going to have to turn a few away. If it's those 4 that's great but hopefully JJB (or Calob Tannor) and OO is on the the list when all is said and done.

We have a lot more than 4 spots left, according to Frost himself. From the Journal Star:

Regardless, Frost said Tuesday he expects the class to finish somewhere between 25 and 27 additions all together. There’s little doubt NU will be interested in the graduate transfer market through the spring and summer, and it’s thought the Huskers have room to add 30-plus players overall, as they counted all eight midyear enrollees back to the 2017 class. The total number will eventually depend on roster attrition.

The bottom line, though, is that NU is expected to add anywhere from four to eight more players before Wednesday is out.

Well, now I've read that we may have more. Hopefully it's more as there are some names of that list that I'd hate to see turn'd away for lack of room.

We've seen some roster attrition. I hope not, but we could see more.

Even if we lose out on a few of these kids, I've been very impressed with what HCSF and his crew have been able to do in a quick couple of months...

Parker Gabriel just stated on Sharpe and Benning that the number of Wednesday is four or five. So the hope would be MW, JJB, Ogbonnia, and an Olineman, plus perhaps one other.

It was a long time ago. I remember Notre Dame, but I could be wrong.
A couple of years ago Tommie told me directly a story about Lou Holtz sitting in his living room talking to he and his mom. After ten minutes he said he and his mother couldn't wait for Holtz to leave. They both felt very uncomfortable around him. The next night TO come to their home and his mother told her son that she trusted Dr. Tom. I think it was technically down to Clemson and Nebraska at the end.

Nate Clouse on The Bottom Line just said he's confident in Washington being N, Believes Canty is also a strong Husker lean as well as Andre Hunt. After that he says things get interesting. Montgomery is a toss up, Bell he said he was confident on last week but the longer it draws out the more he feels NU will lose out. Otito he says he can't get a feel for as he is still considering 6 schools. Believes he liked the Academic Support that NU can offer, but said his Brother runs track at Texas Tech so that could be a draw as he wants to throw shot in college as well. They also offer his major that he prefers. It will be an interesting Wednesday for sure. I'm hoping that with Tago going to OSU, we really did pick up a commit, but as in the past we know how those "silent commits" end up for us!

Frazier originally committed to Colorado but then CU got the commitment from Koy Detmer and McCartney told Frazier they wanted him at DB. Frazier than pulled his commit and narrowed it to Clemson, Notre Dame and Neb. IN the end the final two choices were Clemson and Neb. We know how it turned out!

What is your goal here? See a lot of posts from you, if not questioning the coaching staff, you are diminishing their accomplishments so far.

That or he’s questioning why anyone wants Washington when no one really wants him..
