Gotta go with the Warriors here. Watauga’s schedule is a cupcake party plus their school name sounds like an entree at a Chinese restaurant. Weddington schedule is stud football. They should roll.
I didn't realize that because you don't like a schools name, that gives you the right to disrespect it. Watauga gets a lot of that on and I'm not sure why.

As for the easy schedule, logistics plays a lot into that. The school board isn't giving the AD a lot of room or leeway to schedule nonconference games off the mountain. They'll always be at a disadvantage there.

I hope for safe travels to Weddington, and a no injury game. The best team will always win and rightfully so. Best of luck to both teams. Go Watauga.

Doss, Freedom is pulling for you guys! Watauga is no pushover. Weddington is the real deal but can't overlook these feisty Pioneers. I think this one will be closer than most think.

42-14 Weddington. I was really surprised. We usually do not dominate the line of scrimmage. Tonight we did on both sides. We ran up the middle the entire night from the spread. Did not throw a pass until 3 mins left in the 3rd quarter. Threw only twice all night. Was very impressed with the Watauga offensive scheme . Double wing misdirection mixed with shotgun spread. Very hard to prepare for , I can see why they had such a great year. Great facilities and good hosts.

Yes, this weather favored Weddington

If they ran the ball the whole game, I dont think the weather played a factor at all. The warriors are used to playing up on the mountains during the playoffs, as it seems like they go up there and win almost every year. Never forget how cold the trip to Asheville was a few years back. 42-14 has nothing to do with the weather.

Exactly .. ! the weather would not have mattered last night. The trips to Asheville the last several years have been brutal cold against some very talented teams. It did favor the fans though . Glad I didn't freeze my butt off.

Not saying the weather determined the outcome, only that it favored Weddington. If you know anyhing about the normal temps this time of year in those two places... it can be a 25 degree difference. Normally Boone temps this time of year would have been low 30's at best.

If you're relying on temperature to win a ball game, then that's not a good look. I had a feeling Weddington would win big.

Exactly Beamer.
Understand your point however it would not have mattered last night. Anybody that was at the game can tell you that. We threw twice and dominated the game. The last several trips to Asheville were brutal cold.... it did not matter

Threw twice and I think zero yards in penalties.

Onion is right. Temperature doesn’t matter when a team throws it twice and still was up 42-7. Just face it, Watagua was overmatched and Weddington was flat out better.

Looks like Max was right, Watauga is losing Bryce Satterfield. Gotta be a big hole to fill.

Could be possible he stays and finishes out at Watauga. The money Scott's making they can afford a second home in the mountains of NC
