Monroe's coaching staff got a blueprint last week on how to have success against Weddington with the passing game when Marvin Ridge executed their 9 minute scoring drive to open the game. Unfortunately, Monroe is tiny in the trenches and has is primarily a passing team, which means the Warriors can pin their ears back and rack up on quarterback hurries, hits and sacks. While the RedHawks have three worthy athletes at wide receiver, the Warriors also have three special players in the secondary that can minimalize their success, and I see Weddington pulling away by the third quarter and winning by 25+

I think Weddington has 5 special players that play in the secondary on any given snap. The tall guy has been a secret weapon, in more ways than one. I don’t know how Monroe stops Weddington’s offense. Barring turnovers, another 45 or so points should be put up.

I was giving Monroe a fighting chance as this is a rivalry, then I just saw they lost by 20 to Marvin Ridge. Even though they have some good wins since then, they don't stand much of a shot. 40+ margin is likely. Looking like a cold but dry Friday night, perfect football weather.

As long as we don't somehow stumble with Monroe or Cutty, we are looking at a lot of games being played on Warrior grass this postseason
