Weatherspoon vs Molinar

[NWADog]

I love Nick, I think he plays harder than anyone on the team. I just do not think he is a great point guard. He plays out of control more than he’s in control. Just goes wayyyy too fast. Molinar just seems smooth and more comfortable. He doesn’t press as much as Nick. I’d rather have Molinar, Stewart, Woodard, Perry and Ado. Bringing Nick and Carter off the bench would be awesome and I think best for the team.

He's keeping us in the game

He’s a great player. He’s finishing well at the rim today. Still don’t think he’s the best point guard on the roster. Howland sees them at practice everyday so he knows more than I do but that’s just my opinion.

I've seen this brought up several times on this board. I have to admit I have not watched every minute of every game, but the times I have seen Molinar come in to sub for Nick, Tyson has moved to the point, so I have to wonder why people keep saying Molinar is better than Nick at the point.

2 DA fouls there at a crucial point in the game by him to foul out.

Nick is the bad apple in this Fruit Basket.... we played better as a team before he came back.

Today, Molinar should have played more minutes for DJ. Against Ole Miss, Molinar should have played for Nick. Sometimes Molinar needs to play for Tyson. Howland is unwilling to do it.

The problem today was effort and defense. For a Ben Howland coached team to give up that many points to the 339th ranked scoring offense is atrocious.
