and we aren't helping him at all. Coming into today, he had a 0.29 ERA. That is sick.

In the latter part of his career, Polk got away from abusing pitchers. But there's no excuse for a closer with major league potential to throw that many pitches in the last 6 days of the season for a last place team. None at all.</p>
