On this screenshot from The Ventusky weather app showing the wind direction, when all the wind is blowing into one spot like water going down a drain, what am I looking at? No particular reason but I’ve never seen or noticed that before.

Here's a trick that demonstrates the opponent -process cells in visual cortex (the "waterfall effect").

The National Weather Service has a mobile “app” version you can add to your phone. That’s the only thing you need for the forecast. I use RadarScope for radar.

My first guess is that there was a low pressure center and the app was having s hard time handling the counter clockwise flow.
