It's definitely not the same Huskers we faced the last few years. There is no quit in this team, and this offense can strike quickly. Frost has the players heads where they need to be. As he gets more of his recruits in place, and with more experience, Nebraska will be a force to be reckoned with, and not just in the West.

.....aaaaaand this is why I’m made at Kirk Ferentz even after a win. Iowa goes up 31-13 at minimum and this isn’t the calling card for the next year. I don’t think this game has any influence on next seasons game. Iowa got blasted at Penn State three years ago and then lost on a last second TD the following season. Games don’t mean squat when projecting to next season.

Somebody made a good argument on the Iowa board that if Iowa had kicked a fg there and made it 31-13 Nebraska probably wins. I can see the logic of it.

I don't think you watched the same defense. Better tackling more pass breakups never I'll say never quit playing hard

I seriously can't tell if you really mean this or you are being sarcastic. This is the worst tackling team I have seen ever at Nebraska and I have been watching since 1970, More pass break ups is a worthless stat. It means you are either getting picked on a lot or the D front is getting zero pressure. All of which was true for us this year. I can't believe how many times the opposing QB picked on the same DB all day long alternating between 23 and 21. This is one of those cases where stats do not lie. We gave up a ton of yards. It seemed like we couldn't stop the pass at the beginning of the year and then later we couldn't stop the run. It seemed like if we got teams into a 3rd and long it was likely they would get it way too often. Hang your hat on turnovers all you want but where were they yesterday? You have to be close enough to make the play and we were not. Good D's stop teams, not just slow them down. Then project for me where the help is going to come from for the future?

I’ll take that for a $1,000 Alex.

You'd bet $1000 on it when you had to rely on a last second field goal at home against the youngest team in the B1G?

The Hawkeye fans I know don't don't have close to $1000 in the bank, so I doubt you can back a bet.

Lastly, I would never agree to a bet till the week of a game. Dont know what the injury report will look like. Oh and I dont know you, so I dont trust you enough to make a bet.
