When Indiana can stop the run, they win and when they can't they lose. That has been the pattern all season for them.

I am not sure why so many here are confident. We are underdogs for a reason. I am hoping for the win at Indiana, but am certainly not expecting or counting on it. They have a decent team. If they stack the box and hamper our running game, we are not going to score much. I think we need a few breaks to win this on the road, like turnovers and/or big return(s)

Also, I am sick of RU fans bashing the "conservative" play calling. There is a very good reason for conservative play calling. We have no passing game. No QB who can throw and no WR who can get open. The more we pass, the more likelihood of bad things happening.

A healthy Saquan Hampton would be very helpful for Rutgers' chances to win vs Indiana

I think the lose to PSU helps us too. I didn't like that the team was pointing out how quiet the stadium was when they were up 6-0. Hopefully getting smack around the rest of the game was a wake up call

Indiana is a very odd team to judge...they have that two QB system and it really depends if either of those guys are playing well...worries me that we have to game lag against two very different QBs

As for the conservative play calling, teams know they can stack the box and stop our run game...Kill needs to find ways to spread the ball out to get Blacksheer and Melton in open space to get their DBs off the line of scrimmage...Gio has shown the ability on the short routes and Indiana doesn't have the DLine that will give us problems like some of our recent opponents had...

Easy buddy. You're reading way too much into this. The team isn't going to fail based on what I say and if I thought they did then still, they wouldn't care. And further where did I use the transitive property in the quote you used?

I think your Indiana fan-hood is showing.

Lets let them play the game and we'll see who wins. I think they win rather easily - I'm a guy on the internet - it means nothing to the fan base except for in a thread like this. Until then, lay off the caffeine.

Hey one other thing. All of the talent you are talking about? Where's all the wins?

Excellent retort. Except I'm not an IU fan.

Still, you must be new here. Saying that what he expects is what makes fans like him turn on their team shows just that. If you know the Screws, win or lose they're riding with RU for life. Nothing wrong with optimism and expecting to win every week.

Thanks, but I mostly have expected to lose almost every week in the B1G. This week feels different to me. I think we run it successfully, control the clock. Complete a few passes and win by 10 (20-10).

Generally I'm laying the points and taking the opponent.

Well, I meant that like a passionate fan accepting nothing less than a W from their team. No moral victories, just win. Not as a gambler looking at Team A vs Team B. Lol I tried.

We got whipped. The team played pathetically. Not your buddy. I expect we'll see you again the week of next year's Indiana game.

We didn't get whipped; we got horse-whipped. What a terrible performance! And to think that people could make reasonable arguments this week that the game would at least be close.

No part of the entire game to not be embarrassed over. Offense (LOL) D, Specials, coaching, effort. Zero.

I disagree only because I don't like questioning players' effort. I'm certainly not a football expert, but I thought that on both offense and defense, the players hit hard and tried their best. The problem, as even Ash had to admit at the press conference, was that he and his staff did not properly prepare them.

Boy was I wrong. Gotta remember to use my brain instead of my heart with RU. -11 was the clue considering Indiana was 1-6 in conference and we were 3-4. Huge disappointment.

This make a shitshow looks like an Academy Award winning performance.
And how many annihilations (30 points or more) have we suffered under Ash?
