Not saying the bobcats were robbed but not saying it was a no doubter either way. Point being we put ourselves in that position against the likes of a pretty lowly snowbird. I think we had to come from behind every game mainly thanks to poor hitting and fielding.

We definitely aren’t on the right track after this weekend. I think when Ginn got pulled in the first game for arm soreness State’s potential season went with it. Tanner Allen being out now just puts the cherry on top. I think they’ll still make a regional and all but I can’t see this team going to Omaha or hosting after what they’ve lost and what I’ve seen so far. Just a bad luck season. Good news is the young guys are going to play a lot of innings and they’ll either get better or we will be Able to tell who needs to move on.

It's only a strike if the catcher is successful at framing the pitch. Hitter can barely get the handle of the bat on a pitch that far in.

That pitch was several inches off the plate. Not sure how it had been called the whole game cause I only caught the last 2 innings but that pitch was a ball.

Loss of Allen seems to be affecting us right now much more than the loss of Ginn. We are at least still pitching it pretty well although I know we have not seen any top notch offenses the last couple of weeks. But our hitting and our defense are both way below what they need to be.

This weekend was basically a practice session. The rubber meets the road this week with 5 games against top ranked competition to find out where we are. I'm not very optimistic at the moment about the results we are going to see given how our offense struggles to put up runs.

We're fine. Some of you are plumb ridiculous. I guess none of you expected an adjustment period - probably the same one who expect a $5 chairback behind home plate during Super Bulldog Weekend because average fan reasons.

Talent is there, and they need to grow up in a hurry and learn to be leaders. The pitching has overachieved. The freshmen look very good. There are a ton of positives to see if you are not a miserable ****.

If you insist on being said ****, you can at least look forward to next year, which seems to set up pretty good if you're already willing to write off the current juniors. The pitching staff will be absolute smoke. James and Tanner look to be capable of producing at a 3 and 4 hole clip. I have no idea if any of the big 5 will return (Jordan, Allen, Westburg, Foscue and Hatcher) but if we only get one that will be enough.
