For every expense we incur due to China virus. If we owe them anything we deduct from that debt what the bill for what their China virus catastrophe has cost us.

Honestly, the real answer is to establish an operation in China that will monitor them for any signs of a pandemic and then work with the govt to stop it.

Billing China isnt realistic, BUT critical good manufacturing (i.e. pharmaceuticals, medical supplies and equipment) absolutely should be brought home OR to Mexico/Canada.

I'm not saying I'm smart enough to know the answer, but don't you think that there should be some sort of global repercussion for China? Not for the virus, but the way they hid it, manipulated the data, and really did nothing until word started leaking out. Being a part of the WHO and the global health community requires a level of transparency and honesty. This pandemic really could have been containable if they had just come forward in November.

China keeping it secret at the start is obviously terrible and could have saved countless lives and billions of dollars. Perhaps trillions.
But remember, we have stomped around the middle east for 20 continuous years. We went into one country on flimsy intel. I don't give a **** how much you want to spin it, we have killed thousands of innocent civilians. The vast majority of those civilians didn't have a family member, a tribe member, or even live within 400 miles of anyone participating in terrorism. They were minding their own business and we came in an wrecked their world.
Just like the Chinese didn't TRY to uncover and spread COVID-19, the US didn't TRY to go kill a bunch of innocent people in the middle east. That's just the way the **** cookie crumbled.
And if you think we could simply punish China with sanctions, we have all the data from these last few years. All Trump did was raise the cost of goods for Americans. And then take our tax dollars to prop up farmers, because grain is our only real export to balance all the stuff we buy from them.
They have asked them to shut down the wet markets for years and they haven’t. They should be held accountable. It’s not a matter of someone getting someone else sick because that isn’t preventable. What is preventable is taking proper action to prevent the virus from occurring and they clearly didn’t. They need to be held accountable!
We should just regulate people we import from the way we do in US. Have them pay our government auditors for the right to sell in the US. Level the playing field. Few plants in China would make it through an OSHA, FDA or USDA audit/ inspection.
If they meet same requirements as US companies and pay for the Audit they will lose some of their competitive advantages. Jobs and manufacturing will come home quickly. If they can still do it and supply cheaper it’s a win for all. Agriculture is a great example.

Allies billed Germany and Austria for starting WW1 years ago. That directly led to a complete destruction of their economy which snowballed through Europe and around the world, leading to the Great Depression, leading to Nazism in Germany, and then WW2. .... you do understand that "Chinese" isnt a race, right? Its a Nationality. Either your attempting to bait OR youre being baited by leftist propaganda. No one, at least on this forum, is promoting racism towards Asian people. No one is advocating for violence or hate against the Chinese people. If you can show me specific cases of that happening, I will join you in calling those individuals out.
What people are saying, is that the Chinese government knew about this virus MONTHS before the globe did. They actively suppressed information which wouldve been beneficial and saved lives. They are now threatening to shut supply chains for much needed goods.

I did not see any information on how to stop a pandemic in any of these passages. The bible is not going to stop COVID-19 but a vaccine based on the scientific method will.
