And limit the turnovers we are easily in the tournament. It’s really ashame the way this team squandered their opportunity.

That’s the thing with a young team they don’t play every game like that. It’s also been a long time since we have had senior leadership that pushed a team to play like every game

Always a great game plan- someone on the staff is burning the midnight oil. Fountain has been a steady option which has helped. Post needs Davis minutes- he’s a disaster

Based on what I'm reading in this thread, it sounds like our players played with great effort last night.

The only thing that a basketball player has complete control over is how much effort he plays with.

How much effort a player plays with contributes greatly to the likelihood that his team will win. I think we can all agree with that.

Thus, why would anyone play a game of basketball with anything less than 100% effort and intensity?

Doesn't each player owe that to himself? To his team?

Not really sure what makes basketball so unpredictable this year. Maybe its the pandemic fatigue mixed with other things I can't see.

It comes across like when we want to win we can win.

The energy of the two teams were polar opposite yesterday. You would think that a team has an identity. I am glad I don't bet because there is no reason or pattern to this season, or maybe its a trend that whoever wants to win that day will probably win.

Best defensive effort of the year. This team is so frustrating due to their youth and lack of mental toughness. I do think they have the potential to be very good if we can more production from another big besides Tolu.

We were 'young' last year and the two best sophomores left! We are 'young' this year! Not many really good players stick around for their Senior years and I don't think Molinar or DJ will either!

Just hope they stay next year.
