Agree that this is on Pike. These are college kids, not hardened NBA veterans. They need a passionate leader to get them going a lot of times. Izzo wins for a reason…
also when certain players get yanked and others get reduced. The problem is that Pike's recruiting has bit him in the *** hard this year

This is really the issue. Will be interesting to see what happens with the roster. Our stars take too many nights off and that doesn’t get it done.

If you pay attention you will see Izzo ride his best players very hard during the game. He used to put Cassius Winston on the bench next to him and read him the riot act. He made great players even better because he challenged them and still does. Winners respond; also-rans pout.
Lol. Pike gets at least as much out of his players as izzo. Izzo has much better players every year.
