I was in school when Battle was there, did little as a frosh. That is why when people want to give up on Eugene it is too early. During Battle's sophomore year you could see how good he was going to be. Eugene needs to shoot the ball a lot over the summer.

For sure. Eugene is a versatile player who will be fun to watch.

I like Eugene's instincts, and the energy he brings. With this staff, he'll only get better, as his rawness becomes more refined. Think he was a great find.

I wouldn't mind using getting one transfer every year.

I agree, you hold one spot open for a player that is going to have to sit out as your game plan, and you can take up to two but that would mean that none of your freshman can redshirt. Basketball has a high number of transfers and from what I see, guys transfer too early sometimes out of frustration of minutes. I look at fifth years guys has a whole different breed of transfer as they don't have to sit out and they are more liked one year hired guns.

Exactly my thoughts, use one of the 13 slots every year on a guy that isn't going to play & will be sitting out because of transfer.
