We need Robot Refs

Game was over once TyTy went out.. but these refs are hosing Kentucky big time
It has been for years. And every year that goes by I lose more and more interest in college BB.
I fail to see how it is over when we are in striking distance even with the absolutely atrocious referees.
It’s awful. There were three fouls they COULD have called on one of our possessions and then call that little touch foul on Wheeler.

the human part of the game i DONT want to see is an old man ringing up players because... they are incapable of seeing or biased. i would rather see the human part of the game that showcases the players

Can count the number of times UK gets a good home whistle on one hand. They are either instructed, corrupted, love underdogs, hate Kentucky, or hate Cal.
UK can't run a functional offense without Wheeler and TyTy both playing. It's painful to watch
College basketball needs to completely revamp their approach to officiating. The SEC most of all.
They need to fire the entire current bunch and start over with full time officials who are evaluated after every game like the pro leagues have done.
It's the only way to get some consistency and eliminate the refs who get caught up in the excitement of the crowd and want to be part of the show.

I can probably dig up at least 20 games in the past 4-5 years where we got a “good” whistle. Refs don’t make bad calls against us because of some conspiracy against UK by the NCAA and officials. Ref blaming is one of the weakest things u could do as a sports fan and it happens literally after ever loss we have.
Seriously? U think literally every ref that has reffed our games is just against us for some reason and we have never got a “good whistle”?
I agree with that to a large extent, but I think it’s bad all around. Not just skewed against us because the NCAA and refs don’t like Cal (?).
I watch a lot of basketball, SEC refs are absolutely terrible but you're entitled to your opinion.
I normally like Raft but I couldn't hear him with Kessler's member firmlyvlodged in his mouth. He was hyping him up after a foul and a goal tend.

SEC officiating has been notoriously bad for decades. Coaches may be getting tired of it but, unless their AD's start speaking up and have their backs, nothing will get done.
It's not just UK that is the victim of garbage refs. Will Wade (LSU) is a total douche but, he went OFF in a game and in his post-game presser earlier this week over a terrible call. Turns out he was RIGHT to go off.
My biggest pet peeve is when refs obviously get caught up in the atmosphere and fail to call the game objectively. It happens a lot and IMO can make the outcome illegitimate.
Like I said, it's going to take a whole group of AD's coming together to demand better performance from refs, or nothing will ever change.
Yeah there’s just no system to hold people accountable. Poor Don Delaney is guaranteed to be awful. Typically in the direction of whomever the home team is.
I wouldn’t say never got a good whistle. But the majority of our games, even wins, we get crappy officiating.
The saddest part is that some of the worst refs are considered the best by the NCAA. They are the ones that get choice FF assignments.
It’s never going to make any damn sense until people understand that the refs are the “house advantage”.
98% of the money was on AU! Zero chance in hell the refs weren’t going to make it work. TyTy or not! Sorry, but that is worst kept secret in sports.
And that is why some of these games (other sports included) aren’t worth watching.

Do y’all remember the Rams/ Saints playoff game from a few years ago? Where there was a pivotal play involving a personal foul and a pass interference call on the same play, and ALL 4 officials swallowed their whistles, when every eye in that stadium was watching?
In no real world would that ever happen! The NFL had to do some major damage control afterwards. And yes, the top guys in all of these sports leagues are aware. As are the coaches. It’s just an acceptable part of the game to them, so don’t wait for one of them to blow the whistle on it… pun intended.

Its much deeper then the refs are bad. We no longer have a standard in the country to strive for excellence. It is in everything just look around.
i am sorry- games should be won by players and coaches.... the fans should only help those 2.
refs should be there to make the right calls.... If they can't? It is time to fix the game.
