If that’s the case, and I’m not sure that it is, it’s better that EJ clears out. Whether or not Satterfield is coaching the tight ends or not it’s none of his business. The OC is now Dana Holgorsen. The guy who expanded EJ‘s role in the last few games.
If the report is true, then I actually understand Emmitt's decision. I don't agree with it, but I understand it. Kids have been quitting or transferring because they don't like a particular coach since the forward pass became popular.

If I had to guess, EJ knows that Dowdell is going to get at least a third of the carries and was probably looking over his shoulder at Parker coming in, as well as competition with some unknown from the transfer portal. He's a fine runner and catches the ball well, but hasn't separated himself from the other backs on the roster in the three years he'd been in Lincoln. And it's not like the competition has been stiff.
He averaged almost a whole extra yard a carry over Dowdell.....and I doubt Parker is going to be Big Ten ready his first season.

There's a lot that factors into that. Did all the NIL money that was being proposed for the QB position go to Dylan instead of Kyle? We're talking $1M+ decisions being made by college kids. Let alone competition and playing time as factors.
Mccord wanted guaranteed starter clause IIRC

Well the RB coach is crap.. I wish they would move him the f out.

The rest of the RB room is bunk, and now loosing EJ sucks.

Booth is likely the next back that has the tools to do well, but is he physically ready? possibly.

not a fan of Parker coming in.. see how that goes I guess.

So Carriker did share info today on the radio that EJ did enter due to Satt and that it could be that he stays but only because he likes Holgorsen
He felt disrespected and like he should have played more earlier in the year.

Well, I hope he stays, I think DH will use the top 2 backs a lot and ride them the whole season. We shall see
I hope that is the case and he sticks around.. Satt and Barthel are for some reason protected by Rhule.

Really Booth has more tools than Parker?

Went to 3 games of Bishop Neumann and Booth is really good but had to take under consideration he was playing against C2 talent..

Was surprised to see Booth with the almost blue chip rating. And to compare, per Rivals
EJ (HS) - 5.6 3*, not ranked as a RB nationally
Parker - 5.9 4*, #6 RB
Booth - 5.7 3*, #27 RB

def yes.. when you look at both the kids film, the way each of them run, Booth has more tools imo. To be direct, I would not have recruited Parker.
