At least this year there's hope. This team will win some B1G games. They need to take care of business in the rest of the OOC. NO holiday blahs against Columbia or Maine.

You can see the progress with this team. Unfortunately there is still a long way to go. But we're moving in the right direction

That could happen but we would need some of our fans there. A lot of Wisconsin fans will be in Chicago.

If you can't see the difference this time, you're not paying attention
No one’s ever said that before. Seriously, given the past performance of this team, I would think an iota of skepticism is healthy. I’ve been following Rutgers for 25 years. I’ve NEVER known what it’s like to go dancing. “This time is different,” has been uttered every time a new coach comes in. Banno, Waters, FHJ, Rice, EJ...ok, maybe not EJ. With that history, forgive me if I’m not buying in right away.

I’ve been hopeful before but honestly not thought “this time it’s different”with any of those coaches.

I see the difference for sure, but my statement is true none-the-less.

They should have won last night's game, BUT they didn't. I'm tired of the endless moral victories. I want real wins against real opponents. I know that Pike is trending us that way, but its one thing to look better, its another thing to actually win the games.

It’s extremely hard to win on the road so you have to win at home consistently and then steal a few. Yes, we were close and that’s always frustrating but that just means it’s getting closer to happening. The first step was thinking we could win going into the game and being shocked that we were 13.5 point underdogs. Just wait. This group gets better and better and next year we win games like that.

Every big 10 game will be an absolute war. I don’t care who we play. There’s no easy games. Just think about it like this. When we win, it’s a good win and you’re watching some of the best college basketball in the country. When we get to post season and eventually the NCAAs, we will have a shot to actually advance.

Next up is Fordham. No let down; play like it’s Michigan State.

There's a reason for the phrase "enjoy the build." We'll get there, and it may happen a lot faster than some people think.

If we’re one year away we won’t finish in last place this year. That was one of my goals.

Next year, We don't lose this game. We re 1 year away. I can smell it
Not until they get a shooter. They have no reliable shooter on this team. Geo and Gene can score, but they are inconsistent. That has to change too.

What is your definition of fast? 2020 is best case scenario to me, assuming no unexpected transfers or serious injuries.

Maybe next year. Obviously, things have to go right. Players have to develop. But I think getting Geo away from playing so many minutes as the primary ball handler could be huge for this team.

There will always be next year our freshmen PG will lead us to the dance. The great white hope will distribute his way and ya to 20 wins. Geo can move to SG and then watch out.

If you tried you could not go years recruiting in a major conference in a major region without landing any players who can shoot or QB's who can throw.Oh wait yes you can..
