Actually,no one has a clue about playing teams not in the bubble called conference play. I rely more on the Cuse game than the 2 disparate Illinois games. I wish Rutgers had at least played ND in December. The NCAA will be officiated far differently from conference play and without having sample sizes out of conference any match-up is very mysterious. I will stick with my own opinions:
Stay away from Big 12 teams
Play anyone on the west coast
Avoid Gonzaga at all costs. Illinois and Michigan are excellent. Zags are elite.
I am going with Rutgers as a 9 against San Diego State or Oregon with Baylor in the wings.

Isn’t Baylor in the big 12? So basically the second round could be Gonzaga or Baylor

You guys are clueless. It's very simple, if Rutgers uses a time machine and transports back to December 2020 with a healthy squad, they will beat any seed 7-10. If we continue playing how we have in the last 2 months, doesn't matter where we are seeded, just enjoy Selection Sunday.....This team peaked months ago and will have trouble beating a legit NCAA team unless they are firing on every single cylinder, which is really a shame given the talent level

RU72 hit on the big one ...the games will be different because the referring will be different than we have seen. 42 of the last 46 games have been big ten game’s and big ten refs

how we adjust to that will be a big piece of what we do or don’t accomplish in the NCAA tourney

Gotta love an OP that’s titled no one has a clue but states the consensus opinion nationally.

We’re not going to face guys like Kofi Cockburn, Hunter Dickinson and Luka Garza with whoever we play. And that means that there’s a much better chance Myles can avoid foul trouble. And Myles playing without foul trouble and owning the boards makes us a totally different team. Of course, we’ll have to make a few shots but it all flows from Myles.

This is an excellent take.

I'm just excited to be playing somebody not in the B1G. Really missed that this year. Great time to represent and see the outside view.
