A starting lineup that included three freshmen and four players in their first year in the program. Also it was on the road at Kansas. Luckily Bill self took it easy on us in 2nd half.

Esa, Harris and Konate should be ashamed of their attitude and selfishness. Glad Esa and Harris are gone hope Konate follows them out the door.

From here on out its got to be about who we've got and not about who we don't. Hopefully, the team can use these next few games to start gelling for next year.

We still don't have a point guard who can truly lead us. Maybe one of these guys can get some experience and learn enough to be serviceable for next year. Maybe a new guy can come in and do it.

Plus, we still don't have an outside threat or one who can create his own shot (or both). Be nice to pick up one or more of those. We'll probably have a couple more spots open up around the second/third week in March.

Yeah right if you say so. Quit being a whinny ***** Allen. Huggy is in trouble. He lost this team and recruited players that were underachievers. Oscar better be a savior.

We probably don't win another game. But yes these games can be used as a training process. Somebody needs to step up. I mean heck Haley played 35 minutes and didn't score a single point. We will need some new guys come maybe not seven but will need some point guards.

Knapper could be a scoring guard but he just doesn't know how to free himself up in traffic. McCabe is the better passer but holds the ball to long a lot of the times. I think these 2 could improve.

Very simple. Huggy better get 4 or 5 legit Big12 players in here for next year or this could be a rough 3 or 4 years.

For the normal members here in trouble means wins and losses next year. To an emotional homer like @WVUALLEN it means fire the coach. Geek fans like Allen think of firing the coach anytime there is rough times with a program. What a geek loser.

Huggins "lost" this team last March/April when the Nova game struck 0:00. That's when the heart and soul of this team said their goodbyes.

What we had left were folks who never had the ability to lead. They either relied on Carter/Miles for direction and to carry them or they never bought in totally in the first place.

Last year, we could overcome that to a certain point. This year, with the lack of leadership and experience, we couldn't. We'll probably luck into one more win. But we might see some improvement in other aspects. You can tell morale is low all across the board. It would be nice to see some comraderie reappear, no matter what the scoreboard says.

It seems like Haley is afraid to shoot. Like maybe if he shoots more than one or two jumpshots a game he'll be pulled. I know that isn't the truth but you have to wonder what's going on there.

Knapper is just a shorter version of West - a spot shooter. Get him on his spot with a wide open look he can be deadly. But, take that away and he can't create. Same kinda goes with Beetle too. Beetle can't go to his right at all. If he can't go left, he's toast.

With the #1 rim protector not playing. Nor was the best guard we had. Maybe it helps maybe it don't but I feel we would be closer to .500 over all.

Bolden is considered our best guard on the team. He does drive to the basket but most times it is out of control

Agreed. We still aren't a tournament team by any measure. Maybe NIT at best.

One big problem is that our motion offense doesn't work when there is no motion. None of our players move without or to the ball. With all the newbies, you would think the coaches would have focused on these fundamentals but they either haven't or the team has not learned. It wouldn't surprise me to see 6 to 8 new faces next year with 3 new guards 6'3 or taller in the mix. I still think McCabe and Matthews have potential to be solid players if given a chance to develop over the rest of the season.

Huggy's offense hasn't changed for 30 years. Stand around until the end of the shot clock. Throw the ball at the rim and crash the offensive boards. If we can t out rebound the other team or manage to hit a few 3's we are dead in the water.

Unless of course Huggy's rugby scrum defense is creating turnovers.

None of this is new.

Uh, no that is not his offense. He has said many times guys will not move, they just stand still. You have to move to get open. Get some screens to get free.

I stand corrected. That offense works great against stationary orange cones with no one guarding the stationary passer.
