What no one is addressing is the scholarship disparities affecting recruiting vs many other schools we compete against. Many schools have lottery tuition for their instate players and bundle their 11.7 for select out of state players and Vandy is another story. Many sources say OM uses their Lucky Day scholars for instate baseball players and bundle for selects. Until we improve our scholarship offerings we will recruit behind Vandy and others.

. Those last teams had leadership and the will to win. These guys don’t. They appear as if they would rather be anywhere else. That’s the worst part. If they did have heart, they would have found a way to win today. Instead they let balls fall out of their gloves and gave it away. No one is willing to step up.

We still have a great chance to host a regional. I don’t think we are a national seed this year though. But you can’t expect that every year.

Our expectations should be hosting a regional 3 out of every 5 years. And being a national seed 3 times per decade. And 3 trips to Omaha per decade.
