You didn’t choke, K-State can be a tough win,Kansas struggled in beating them three times this year. Only two of the three wins were by double digits.
LOL. There's zero doubt we played tight and scared. Way too many careless turnovers, missed free throws, etc. It was easy to tell the players weren't certain what they needed to do and played tentative.
Especially after being the 2nd best team in the country last year, but losing to the best team in the Eilite 8 in basically a 50/50 coinflip dogfight. To get 4 teams in a row where 90% effort and 80% execution would have been plenty to get to a Final Four it hurts to see a game where we gave about 80% effort and about 60% execution. KSU played well, but we left 10-16 points and 4 or 5 stops out on the floor last night. Could have easily won by 10 or more.
