We cannot win with LM at QB

The guy we needed to keep here was Gebbia. The guy can sling the ball and he's quick enough to have run Frost's offense.
He didn't want to be here. Why the hell would we want him here? I don't think 1 TD and 2 interceptions against Cal is any better than what we currently have.

The fact that repeatedly the f in frost is lower case and not capitalized in the tweet is not an accident ... gives the outward appearance of support for all the cleti to latch on to - but the subliminal message of the lowercase “baby” f clearly shows he’s lost the team

Do you really mean that?

Why would he want to be here when a less skilled QB who has a year more eligibility than him is picked to run the offense over him? I don't blame him.

And yet he was sitting on the bench a couple years at Oregon State and now that he's starting has middling stats. So I don't know how you can say he's any more skilled than what we have. The guy we needed to keep was Vedral who had the most experience in this offense and capable of running it properly.

The guy we needed was Joe Burrow. Bringing him here would have allowed us to develop Martinez and Vedral for two years. Hopefully, Frost has learned his lesson and won't be afraid to bring in a transfer QB next year.

The majority of the tweet has appropriate capitalization with the conspicuous absence of the name frost - that is some next level disrespect while at the same time leaving some plausible deniability if questioned. Masterful.
Sorry I asked.

Maybe. I thought Vedral looked decisive when he played for us. He left though. Gebbia has looked pretty good the little bit I've watched him. There's not a lot of talent around Gebbia at Oregon State. They don't have near the talent as most of the teams they play.

Reading opinions from the fans, I now understand why Pelini hated us so much😂😂😂

I wanted to see Luke get a chance. He obviously blew it and is not capable of being a starting qb.
Agreed, same here. It was worth a shot, but I think our only chance to win the rest of this season is AM at QB limited throwing. Luke as WR/RB with occasional deep pass trick play.

Then next year we really, REALLY need to consider either getting a killer transfer who can actually pass the way this offense dictates. OR, Frost switch things up and run power I triple option better suited to the personnel he has.

He will be our starter next year hands down and won't have to look over his shoulder worrying about losing his job. This year his working on his arm strength and overall S&C plus also stil healing from those 2 bhroken and one cracked rib suffered by a BS cheap shot right before his playoffs last year and it takes A LONG time for ribs to completely heal.

I hope you’re right. Still need to fix our Oline and our entire defense still sucks.

Did all you guys wake up with amnesia? AM got chance after chance after chance after chance. He’s not good... don’t believe me? What’s is his record as a starter against B1G teams?

Frost needs to call a game to LM’s strengths.

Wow you have gone completely off the rails. Time to bump that dosage up?

He did yesterday. McCaffrey ran the ball 26 times for 122 yards. And we all saw the result.

Did not get him outside of the pocket enough with RPO plays. No option plays. Did not feed our true RBs enough. Set LM up as a pocket passer on way too many plays.

often times we get offtrack with -
a presnap penalty,
missed assignment,
bad snap,
or overlooking the open man (is it just me or are they similar plays/situations/routes?).

these seem pretty straightforward to address, but goood grief, we’ve struggled in these parts for years.
no end in site.

As I said before , Luke doesn't have the arm strength to be a B1G QB in this offense. You have to be able to make all the throws to make it effective. Any throw over 20yds is a struggle to get it there on time and in a window. Great kid, great competitor but he will better serve the team like Wandale. We will never be able to beat these teams with him having to come from behind throwing the ball.

Exhibit A why transfer talk with W and pops are heating up again - big time regret that they let frost and held talk them out of it last year when they were assured that this garbage with W wouldn’t continue.

His NFL stock goes down every time he takes the field

We can’t win with this offense, period. The players are as good as the leaders that teach them their system.

This system is broken. Scrap everything and hire some professionals to your staff or GTFO
What is this offense? It is hurry to the line for qb runs and short passes to TEs. It is not the Oregon spread we were promised.

He doesn't have a QB to run this type of O this year. The only QB we did have to run it to it's full tempo transferred to Rutgers.
He transferred because he wanted to play. Frost could have had him...oh btw he was brutal in his time here under Frost.

Don't think it matters. This team doesn't do anything well.
At the end of the day, this is so true. A quarterback would be nice but would still be wasted when we are throwing the ball to unathletic tight ends and have a terrible OL with a center that can’t snap the football.

He wasn't when he played last year, a knee injury sidelined him and that's why we saw Mac and he ended up getting dinged up as well but did play again against Iowa. He threw for over 200 yards against Minnesota last year as well as 130 yards against Indiana before he went out of the game with the injury and ZERO int's and took this O to light speed in tempo which is the tempo Frost wants to run here and while was running it that way, we were moving the ball at will

vedral was horrible last year as a starter.

led the team to 17 points in 6 quarters, plus backbreaking fumble against indiana

my what short memories we all have.

This all is not Luke's fault. You have a talented mobile QB. Yet on pass plays you still have him doing straight drop backs instead of calling plays to your player's strength. That is coaching not the QB causing the problem.

Except he doesn't throw well on the run. He would've been a lot better yesterday if he had thrown on time, people were open.
