I live outside of Knoxville. I’m married to a great man - but a stinking Tennessee fan. My classroom is decorated in blue and white. My 7th graders will eat me alive if we lose to UT a third time. Plus, just everyday life will be annoying as heck. Beating Kentucky makes some of these people unbearable. I really need a win tomorrow.

Tennessee has been past the Sweet 16 once in the history of their program.
It's going to be tough. They play D, really run their stuff, hit the boards, can shoot, and don't beat themselves. You have to give them credit for how well they play together and facilitate each other. They are a really solid team. We can do it, but it will take a huge effort from our guys. Without JV, the rebounding situation worries me the most. Would be nice if Knox could go off like WG did today.
It was his one fault at the time! 25 five years now and I know more about his faults. But he’s still a great guy. We just fight a lot about sports.
Actually it's not. I was making the point that no one should ever be ashamed in the presence of a UT fan
I mean when you break it down we have played with them and held our own. We were up 8 at TN with no JV and then leading scorer PJ went out almost all of second half and it went down hill. He also finished as our leading scorer. So imagine facing them for 20mins without JV or PJ like we did and we are lucky it wasn't totally embarrassing. Then at Rupp JV played 15mins and PJ only scored 4, we didn't play well and lost by 2. With JV I know we would beat them. Without I still think we can, but we have to have a solid game like today and we have to rebound with them.
Relevant like UT thinking they're still relevant in football [laughing]
We played extremely well today, and we had a tall post player make 7 3's to secure a win today. I like the confidence, but I still think our defense needs to step up and shake up the vols tomorrow. Win or Lose, we ARE one of the TOP teams in the SEC!
That’s right. I know UT will be pressing tomorrow because a lot rides on it for them. They want it BAD and trust me when I say the fans here DO NOT want us.
I can’t wait. I think we win by 9.
