I didn’t say that. I said he wud be an afterthought next yr n the nba. Doesn’t mean he won’t be good eventually. Means he cud come back to school and get better and then go..

You better turn on the AC for all the heat coming your way.
We aren’t consistent enough to beat tournament quality teams 6 games in a row.
You feeling that way explains a lot of your posts. I'm tickled to death on how this team has produced this season. We lost to a top 5 team today. It happens so get over yourself.

I mean yeah he could come back and be even better and potentially increase his stock but he’s a top 20ish pick the smart move is to go. His game translates really well with todays NBA

Despite the loss today, there were some really good signs that the Cats are going in the right direction: Travis was huge today, Hagans had 12 assists. The team shot well. The team rebounded well. It was just a fluke Tennessee shot those three three pointers at the end. Not to mention Travis fouling out on a zero contact play.

But if they are going to beat Duke, they are going to have to get Williamson in foul trouble by constantly driving the ball on him.

But yes, it is a possibility that the Cats could win it all. I think they will learn some valuable lessons from this loss.

I adore Herro. He’s mostly been a great player for us and I hope he exceeds that and wins even more. If he does, great, go pro. If not, it’s not unheard of for borderline players to come back and improve their stock n a weaker draft class. Other schools have great kids come back...it isn’t unheard of.

Yes, 2 of our last 3 title teams, and 2 of the best teams all time, (96,12) didn’t win sec tourney. But, since sec started the tourney back in 79, the deepest run we’ve made while not making at least the sec championship , is the elite 8! 83 maybe?

Now run those same metrics against the last winners and their conferences lol it’s all a toss up. 6 games, win and advance, and winner takes all. That’s it. Stats go out the window usually. But they’re fun to worry about or talk about I guess lol ps don’t really do that for the other teams cuz we don’t care. Figure of speech...

I agree with you that he's gone and he probably should go talking strictly financials. However I disagree with you saying that his game translates well in today's NBA. A 6'4 guard who can't play the point, who has a 6'4 wingspan, who is not an electric athlete isn't exactly the most desired thing in the world. He is very, very, very, similar to Luke Kennard and Luke Kennard basically can't play in the NBA unless he is hot from 3.

Remember this post.

And if we don’t, I’ll take the all the heat. Some of our best team lost in the SEC tourney before making a deep run.
I ain't scared I'm with you. I think this team is special and that today was just another lesson they will learn from. #9 have faith.

Honestly, aside from Duke, is there another team as talented as Kentucky? I don't think there is.
Tennessee, North Carolina, in a tournament with single elimination anything can happen and I certainly hope we win it all, but A LOT of things would have to go our way. Until last night, North Carolina was playing as well as anyone in the country.

Those who know me personally, and on here, know I'm a huge Cats fan. No one wants them to win more than I do; I've lived and breathed UK hoops since I was a little fella.
That said, I honestly don't feel as though this team can win 6 games in a row versus tournament team competition. Title teams don't lose leads, sometimes large leads, like this team did today, and has done all season.

I would love nothing better than for them to prove me wrong, but I just don't feel like this team has what it takes. That doesn't make me any less of a fan than those who feel like we WILL win it all, it's simply my opinion, as sad as it makes me to say it.

No worries if that's how u feel. But doesnt make it fact or law. Prepare 4 the worst and hope 4 the best. Isnt that what we all do anyway? Good thing is, if u feel that way, a loss n the end wont crush u cuz we shudn5 make it there anyway right? I mean...

I’m not sayin this team can win it all, but I’m sayin they have a shot. U can’t dismiss the intangibles and there’s ALOT of them n b-ball games...and matchups...there just is. The best team doesn’t always win and the long shot is always n play if they play hard...the loss today sucked but what if it seeds us better? I mean, there r tons of variables...can we at least see the brackets b4 we start talkin about us not havin IT...did UConn have IT when they beat us? No...lol geez...**** happens guys. Let’s watch it and then ***** and moan at least lol
