For all the negative nancies invoking the road / neutral record , the 18-1 home record can partially counter, but the mind boggling stat that the committee should have stapled to their heads, is that we have as an unranked team beaten 4 ranked teams by double digits and 3 of them leading by 20 late in the second half but for some late garbage baskets. That alone should be enough because I do not see a big difference between 1-11 and 2-11.The glass is more than half full to dance.

Kenpom is 27 this beautiful morning. How about these wins most by double digits or mostly all by double digits except for some late garbage buckets. Seton Hall, Wisconsin, Penn State, Indiana, Minnesota, Purdue, Illinois , Maryland and Stephen F. Austin (80 in the Net this morning ) . Those are 9 quality wins with at least 6 already in the dance and likely 1 or 2 more also going to be in. Impressive enough. No blowouts and no road blowouts . Every road game up in the air with 5 minutes to play and late leads in 4 of them. Just a reminder in the consensus toughest deepest league in the country. The glass is more than half full to dance.

7 wins vs schools IN the field is a huge number...and the committee considers this....7-9....its one of the top if not the top number of bubble schools and even teams projected as locks, it is strong.....note Duke has just 3.
