We are over matched at each position..

We're playing exactly how we played in both exhibitions games -- only agains MUCH better competition. Anybody who didn't see this coming had their head buried in the sand. First game or not, there's not excuse for the performance this team has put up in the two exhibitions and the first half of this game, after having had a summer trip.
Had a really bad feeling about this game after the exhibitions. Frankly, Duke is just better. They have better players.
These two teams could play 50 times on a neutral court and Duke wins at least 40 of those games. OP hit it on the head. They are better at every position AND they play harder with more discipline.
This team looks like it was reading its own press clippings after the Bahamas trip.
You can despise(and I do) K all you want , but the man is a great coach. Cal can't hang with him.
Having the best players matters and Cal missed on the three best players on the court.

Their subs are a lot better than I thought. K can develop players. Very underrated.
HELL yes. We should be anyway. Outside of Zion and Barrett we are better. We just aren't getting anything from anyone. Are you seriously saying that our players that will end up being 1st round picks aren't competitive talent?
I hate to say this be K is absolutely kicking Cal's *** right now. He is much better at building a cohesive team. Everyone knows their role and everyone plays their role. Instead we look like this game is another NBA combine event. Guys trying to do things for the draft stock instead of winning the game.
You forgot Reddish. With their big three, and if they hit threes like this...yeah they are clearly better. It’s still way too early.
Herro needs to play alongside a playmaker, he's not going to consistently create great shots for himself especially if he's the primary focus of the defense
as a second fiddle he's great
And yet, at the only position at which we have an advantage, our superior player has gotten, what, 4 touches?
Moment WAY too big for Herro. He was lost. Barrett and Zion are so much better than anyone on our team it is not even funny. Thy have lottery talent. I do not see any on our squad. We have some very good talent that needs a lot of work. They have elite talent.
