I don't know if it was last year or the year before but a Rutgers poster said that that year class was the best recruiting class ever in Rutgers history. I went berserk and had to tell him it was a terrible class but had to fight others defending the recruiting class.

Things got really weird here after the 2014 season. Thank goodness Rutgers lost that Maryland game in humiliating fashion. I don't think I would be able to handle another year of people lamenting the New Jersey "culture" that drove every top 10 prospect out of the state.

just two years past an undefeated season.. expectations were high for a strong '78 class. Alas, Frank Burns' recruiting budget of $47.26 and 3 GSP tokens did not allow for as big a splash as hoped for........

That made the difference between RU being a Steak and the ground beef it became later .
