The team should stop running out to "Sirius" and just run out on the field to the school fight song. NU needs to push the "restart" key on the football culture in Lincoln. Get a new coach, rebrand itself as a dark horse team that plays tough, smart football. And disconnect from the sense of entitlement, and the intense pressure, that comes with a program living 25 years in the past.

When we return to playing real Husker football, bring back that song and the fans will go absolutely nuts.
