You like Ska better? As an RU fan I like to call them Nebby. Rhymes with wimpy imo.
I'm just confused about the Nebby thing. Is it meant to be condescending like Sarah-Cuse? Or is it just a silly way to abbreviate Nebraska? In any case, it just sounds really dumb to me.
It's not an issue per se. I just don't care for it. Why not extend this to Pennsy for PSU, Westy for WVU, Texy for Texas?

I lived in Omaha for 12 years. I can tell you authoritatively that nobody, and I mean NOBODY, refers to Nebraska as “Nebby”. Except people on our board unfamiliar with them. NU, Huskers, Cornhuskers. Yes. But Nebby is silly.

I have a good friend from Milwaukee and he tells me he has never heard the word Wisky in his life till he heard it from me a few years back. I called BS on him but who knows?
It was entertaining and a great win. The team had to do a gut check. Sometimes you need to go through these situations to get better.
