Week 4 gives us some fun games this week as some teams are fighting for the top spot, while others are already fighting to try and have a week 10.
Geneseo (2-1) @ Moline (2-1): Potentially the game of the week in the WB6. Both teams are coming off strong wins where the running game wore down and dominated their opponents. While this should be a pretty good game, Moline is bigger and deeper as a team and should wear down and pull away from the Leafs in the 4th. Moline 31 – Geneseo 17
Galesburg (1-2) @ Alleman (1-2): I feel the main storyline to this game is how healthy is Alleman? They have been pretty beat up the past two weeks. In this battle of two rebuilding programs, Galesburg just has two many athletes for Alleman to hold up against. Galesburg 35 – Alleman 14
Quincy (2-1) @ Rock Island (0-3): Rock Island finally showed something on offense last week against Geneseo, but their defense has a long way to go. After week 1, Quincy has looked to be firing on both sides of the ball, though to be honest, they were not challenged the past two weeks. They also will not be challenged in this one. Quincy 47 – Rock Island 14
Sterling (1-2) @ United Township (3-0): This game could be a barn burner in that both teams are highly motivated going into it. UT is trying to prove they are “that team” this season, while Sterling might be playing for it’s playoff life already. This one might come down to if Sterling can find a way to get it’s run game going to help slow the game down. When two teams are fighting for their season, anything can happen. Sterling 21 – UT 20
