He isn't recruiting as wellas they would have you believe. His current class is ranked like 63rd. He'll be fired in a few years. He isn't a good coach.
Dang, when they beat us we had guys on here saying NU was racist for not hiring him and how he will be so awesome of a coach....not this year.

It was worse than every other loss we’ve had.
A wise old coach told me this, WHEN you play a bad team is very important. Early in the season, bad teams don't know that they are bad yet and will play harder with more discipline.

Anyone remember why we had no chance to beat Colorado? I do.
Their pass defense is awful but we can't pass and they load the box to stop our run game. If we don't turn the ball over and have a QB that can complete a pass, there is no reason why we couldn't have beaten Colorado.

I’ve thought this for years. Couldn’t agree more.

Yes, we played them when they were at their absolute best and it was a bad matchup for us. I also think that their ability to break the big play also matches up well against us because our defense gets tougher the closer you get to the goal line. Michigan and CU having the ability to score from 20+ yards out with their play makers took a toll on our defense.

I flipped to that game waiting for my ambien to kick in. So I think I saw it. But Shilo Sanders played to the bitter end. Travis Hunter played receiver to the end and made a great catch to help Bluffs to score. Those two didn’t quit.

Chances are they beat us if we played them now also. What's changed for us since?

Would they be favored to win, by some for sure. But look at the body language of the teams. CU doesn’t look hungry and passionate to win once something goes wrong, either side of the ball. Nebraska at least has the passion to be better on the lines and as a defense in total. Yes the offense is bad, but think the game is much closer and by Sanders the QB looks like he has been butt kicked badly with all the sacks and hits he has taken.
