Wrong. We will still have a bad defensive coordinator that will give up a lot of points. .
Really doubt it coming off a 4-8 season. But we could work ourselves into the rankings pretty quickly.
Did you happen to notice how much 21 has improved theough the course of the year? Seems you may have missed it.
You either didn’t watch it don’t know ****. Maybe both. Lamar was an easy target last year and early this year, but there are many Husker fans who can’t seem to change their narrative when things change.

I’m not sure what we’ll be, but if we get past Ohio State and start 5-0, watch out...the team will be playing with a swag we haven’t seen in some time
I won't concede the Osu game. I do not see OSU getting any better, they may be worse.
Defense is a question mark but getting the kids a second year in the weight room along with a second year in the same system can’t be overlooked.
I like the optimism, and I'm sure there will be some improvement from just being in year 2 of the same system.
But the two glaring weaknesses (OL play and front 7 vs run) just dont seem like they will be fixed completely in one offseason. I do think they can be improved, but it's going to be almost the exact same guys playing those spots on D, and at OT.
Is tony fair an early enrollee? And that OT from Minnesota? Need somebody who can get to the QB, just not seeing it next year unless some guys make really big jumps.

Stop baggin on the OL, They made Iowa's DL their little ***** in the 4th which is the quarter that matters most when all is said and done and paved the way for 160 or so Total Offense and 15 pts against the 8th ranked Total D in the nation, so just stop!
What matters most is the final score. I shouldn't have to explain it to you but that is how sports work.
It wasn't the O that lost the game. it was a blown coverage on that 4th and 8. Read the rest of that post you quoted on. The O recovered from it's miscues.
Yes, I fully agree. Both lines are not inept anymore but are far away from being great. As you mention, they'll surely improve, which is very good, but they both have a long ways to go.
Agreed, 8-4, but I think that might be our floor. The offense is gonna be scary good and the D will continue to improve.
I get sick and tired of the whiner's that expected instant glory when Frost got here as this is only year 1 and the Oline will be much better in year 2 Iowa's D was actually ranked as high as they were for a reason. Sheesh
I'm not conceding any game next year. That doesn't mean I think we go 12-0, but I don't see any game next year that seems unwinnable.
If by bright spots you mean running down the field waving your arms and NEVER looking for the ball, then yeah, he and Bootle both do that.
Depending on what urbs does, we might be favored in all 12 when lines come out in july or August.

The last three games will be very difficult. Wisconsin, Maryland, and Iowa. MD is definitely a trap game, and they played OSU down to the wire and beat Texas, so they can definitely beat us if we don't bring our A game.

I said 6-6 this year. I will say 8-4 next year.
