Ya, Miles went right back to his "starting five" in the second half. Pretty obvious he's feeling the pressure.
Somewhere there's a college basketball stone tablet that says, "Thou shalt run the same five guys out for the second half who started the game."

No matter how badly a starter plays, or how badly a starting lineup falls on its face, college coaches can't seem to break this commandment.

That was some bad basketball, who knew Ava Gardner was still alive none the less play basketball ? Seriously Miles has to go,no plan on offense,20 turnovers ? Morrow great rebounded and Webster plays hard, but Miles jeeze,he has recruited some talent and does funny press conferences but he can't coach them up,Make a change NOW mid season, who cares this season is over !

start the game 2/13 from and roughly 50% from the line and the coach didn't coach them up? Um alright. Kids are pressing. Too tight and are feeling pressure. Believe it or not they like Miles and they know they're causing him a whole bunch of grief for their crappy shooting.

dingle must have an excuse rolodex.
It's not an excuse. The shooting stats are a logical REASON. I'm a conservative therefore I operate on facts and logic not fiction and emotion. I don't bring out the tar and feathers when we lose one game..

If it was only one game.

Creighton lapse against ORU was 1 game. Nebraska shooting woes have been years in the making.

we've lost 6 games this year, not 1. Miles has an overall record of 68-73 at Nebraska. For comparison, Doc went 101-89. barry c went 89-91. We're the same as we were 5 or 10 years ago....bad.

It is important to keep in mind that two of NU's losses are to Kansas and UCLA.

It's equally important to put out of your mind that two of the wins are over Chadron State and the University of Mary.

it's not even that they lose, it's that there's no sign of progress, no offensive philosophy, no consistent rotation, and a coach that doesn't seem to have any answers outside of one good 6 week stretch in a 4.5 year period.

On the court, no doubt about it. Roster wise, it's not even close, we're way better off now than we were when Miles took over.

2012-2013 roster
Seniors: Ubel, Almeida, Talley
Juniors: Gallegos
Sophomores: Rivers
Freshmen: Shields, Parker [kept as Sadler signees]
Miles brought in: Petteway, Pitchford, Biggs, Vucetic

2017-2018 roster
Seniors: Fuller, Gill, Taylor
Juniors: Watson, Morrow, McVeigh, Jacobson, Palmer
Sophomores: Roby, Tshimanga, Horne
Freshmen: Akenten, TBD

Whomever is coaching next season, there's a **** ton of ability stocked up. Way more compared to when Tim took over and way more compared to when Doc took over.

Part of me hopes we have a shot and can sign Isaac Copeland [Georgetown transfer] as I believe he's leaving Georgetown at semester. @huskerbaseball13 ?

Yeah Copeland announced his transfer days ago. I believe he's connected to Kenya. I believe he would only be eligible for next years Big 10 portion of the schedule though.

Oh, I wasn't aware he played this year so ya, that gives him one semester of eligibility.

If Miles returns, one has to assume it's his last season unless he makes the dance. My preference is to take a gamble on a one semester transfer, or a transfer that is available to play immediately.

Visiting per Washut. Not sure if all of the schools are interested in him but if so we are going up against some stiff competition. I see he is applying for a medical RS this year due to back surgery. That would give him two years to play.
