Reminds me a lot of Dotson in that #5. Similar build. He had a good game. That catch, stiff arm and dash for I believe 27 yards down the sideline was huge. In a 1 game sample size, he appears to be our #1 passing target.
He looked promising.
What was the deal on the Clifford interception? Did he run the wrong route? He didn’t seem to even look back at the ball. That was such a horrible throw that it seemed to me something else had to happen other than just a bad throw.
When unless this was an option route, Tinsley is not supposed to cut off the route; that's precisely how many picks occur.I rewatched the play. Clifford had a clean throw and was able to step into it. What I did see was that Tinsley turned in as the ball was being released. I think Clifford was expecting him to continue upfield. IMO, I think Tinsley made the right call by cutting off the route and settling into the open space under the Safeties.
PS I missed it in real-time but the DB Jefferson threw up on camera after the TD.
where the ball was intercepted did not look like Tinsley was going to be there in the near future, even if it was a fly pattern.Just way over thrown by Cliff, Tinsley was wide open from where I was sitting watching on Tv could have been a 25- 30 yard gain if Cliff hits him.
