made me realize even more how much we underachieved at the beginning of the season. This team should have been at least a Sweet 16 team but with our performance at the beginning, we were relegated to a 8 seed. I am not saying I am disappointed with our play against Memphis but looking back on it, that first 10 games killed us.

part of the reason we started 5-5 was that we were replacing 3 starters and had nothing but true freshmen on the bench. Still, there's no way we should have been worse than 7-3 in those games. And that would have probably made the difference between a 5 seed and an 8 seed.

in one day then we are a 7 seed. We could have handled Texas/Duke/Georgetown(possibly) and been in the Sweet 16. We had a lot of problems early and were learning to play together. That lost to Georgia was inexcusable.

I agree that we would have been a 7 but Georgia was a buzzsaw. They hit a hot streak. The loss to Miami (OH) and South Alabama were inexcusable.
