Really not hard to understand why good Lawyers don't want to work for Trump. It usually ends with them losing their reputation and sometimes their actual license. He is an impossible client to control or work with. I can't imagine how frustrating it is to have him consistently undermine his own legal arguments against all advice
Keep in mind that he has been practicing 46 years and he is probably in low 70s. So no longer needs to renew his license
WHY would someone who has spent hundreds of hours studying for the bar, passing the bar, building a career; just to risk it for a dumb mofo like Donald. This mofo could care less about an attorney. Let's just take an example of one of Trump's most loyal and rabid supporters... Growlz. We all know that there's no bigger Trumpian anywhere. Let's just say that Trump told Growlz to look into election fraud in Ga. Personally, I'd think that Growlz would lie, cheat, steal, and pimp out his family to get Trump elected, no matter WHAT the voters of Ga voted. BUT let's say that Growlz remembers what democracy actually means and is honest about the findings.
Let's also say that Growlz found that the Ga election was actually on the up and up and reports to Trump that the election was fair and that Biden actually won.
Is there ANY doubt an ANYONE'S mind that Trump would dump Growlz instantly and say that he was Deep State and a communist RINO? ANYONE think that Trump would say... Hey thanks Growlz, I know you are a huge supporter and would never lie about this... It looks like I really did lose Ga? ANYONE?
The fact of the matter is that IF the above were to take place, Growlz and his family would be getting death threats from Trumpians. Just like all the other lifelong Republicans that refused to lie for him.
That's just who Trump is... He was like that when he was a Liberal Democrat and he's like that now that he's a Conservative Republican.

No one would go through the process over possibly being disbarred at that age, much easier to move on. At his age, no one would put at risk your reputation even if it is 5% chance of happening.
