I'm going to the Washington game myself. Flying out of PHL on Thursday and will be in Seattle until Monday. Making a mini vacation out of it like I did with LA for the USC game last year.

Me and my buddies are taking the plunge and heading out for the game on October 10th.

I haven't traveled to an away Rutgers game where I wasn't driving and tailgating with my normal setup.

Are there any groups/orgs that facilitate Rutgers friendly tailgates for traveling fans? Anyone who is involved in traveling for these in general that may have some tips as to where and how Rutgers people will be tailgating?

Thanks!

Highly advise looking into “sailgating”.

Not sure what if any options there are but this is one of the few venues in all of sports you can do this at.

Rented a party boat prior to the last Washington game and sailed for about 2-3 hours and docked right in front of the stadium to get picked up by a water taxi.

Great time and experience.

We’ve discussed but not sure we can handle
the boat.

Who's heading out? I'll be there with 2 college buddies. Haven't finalized our tailgate situation and not sure how we want to handle. Didn't hear great things about "Off the Banks" and would rather have a more localized experience anyway.

Considering sailgating, considering bars, considering anything really. Should be a great trip!

Join fellow Seattle-area alumni, fans, and friends of all ages for an evening of ping pong, good times and Rutgers spirit at SPIN Seattle. Ticket purchase includes access to various ping pong tables, an appetizer buffet, two drink tickets for beer/wine, and exclusive giveaways.

Heading out with my family. Wasn’t impressed with Off the Banks at USC so looked at other options. Considered sailgating but that didn’t quite work for our schedules.

I booked a reservation at a restaurant/bar in University Village. Going to hit up happy hour there while checking out the campus and walking to the game

Was out there earlier and walked around. You can see where you’re sail gaiting. It’s that close. Lake is 20ft behind the practice field which is right behind the stadium.

Yes my buddy told me about this, but this is the night before, not a gameday/tailgate option. Also my current travel plans would prohibit me from arriving to this on time.
