Question for anyone: if that Washington defender who made the pick six takes a knee at the 1 yard line instead, could U dub just have run out the clock? I thought I saw him consider it? Tia

Nevertheless-seeing two Debbie players not fall on the onside kick, made the ending even more enjoyable! 😎

Isn’t it funny that the Nebraska trolls are always gone by mid-October every year. More predictable than a full moon.
They loved Matt Rhule in September. Beat Bowling Green and North Dakota, opened with Big Ten wins against Michigan State and Maryland. Lost a close game to Indiana in Lincoln.

Now they are on a dive losing at Oregon and Washington at home. Their last four games are at Illinois, at Rutgers, hosting Ohio State :) and at Iowa.

Nowledge U fans are trying to figure out a way to buy out Rhule for $70-million.

Debbie could easily lose 3 of their last 4.

6-6 would be delicious.

He made right decision. With around 1:15 left and nebby having 2 timeouts. 1 or less slide and can kneel it out.

Let us not forget rhule cancelled 2 game series vs Tenn. played 2 of the 3 worst big 10 teams and having teams playing with injured qbs and still messing it up. Fans can’t complain they don’t catch any breaks.

Carving knives out for OC Dana Holgerson.

The masses are restless and are demanding that a body be sacrificed. Feeling the heat, will Rhule throw a scapegoat to the gathering blood thirsty rednecks?
Hilarious narrative on holgerson and how their fan base has viewed him. He was brought in and was the guy paired with Raiola that would “bring them back” and Nebby fans slobbering all over his addition to the staff. Then after he failed and baby mahomes left we heard he needed a qb that fit”his style” and they got their man with colanderia. Now reality setting in and it’s fire him so they can start the cycle all over again with the next OC.

I’m casual friends with a few N fans. My brother-in-law is a long time ticket holder and my neighbor is a flag waving super fan.

Whereas frustration and anger have been an occasional sentiment since Pelini left, something deeper has set in with the Washington loss…… something beyond anger whatever that is. Adding fuel, I think, is the practical realization that they are stuck in hopelessness due to the enormous Rhule buyout clause.

Thanks for posting this - I am trying to work from home and your post has me in tears laughing!

I am looking forward to grabbing a bowl of popcorn and watching them fall to Illinois on Friday nite...😉

Let's not get too giddy! We HAVE lost to them at home before (if my memory is right).
Interesting tidbit: since joining the B10, the Huskers are 4-11 vs. Iowa.
1 win at Lincoln
3 wins in Iowa City.

If recent history is indicative, the Huskers are 3x more likely to win the contest at Kinnick Stadium…… mainly because their inability to beat the Hawkeyes at Memorial Stadium (where Iowa has won 7 consecutive games dating back to 2013.

Rhule has certainly gone through a lot of assistant coaches in his four years. It's like a turnstile in their football offices.

Just add this to the long list of "restore the order" narratives the last 15 years. Frosty, The Armstrongs, Martinez, Colandrea, <name any coordinator after a firing>, etc.

Could not believe it. Give up a 4th and 18 and under a minute later they were down by 10. Only the Rhuler can lead that! Reminded me of the 5 first down Iowa victory over them. I would think a 5 first down victory is the record isn't it?

matty getting the full treatment from their trash fan base. Bad look on both ends. Fan base looks awful and timing for rhule to cry about this isn’t going to gain any sympathy from anyone.

Anyone think Frosty looks like Todd from Breaking Bad?

I always thought Scott Farkus from A Christmas Story.
