Sending was the right call. Pinch running with Corder instead of Jess Davis is the head scratcher.

10 times out of 10 it’s the right call, especially with our 9 hole hitter up next. It took a perfect throw to get him and Auburn made it, just tip your hat to their LF.

It was right. Took a great play to throw him out, along with help from the 3B running in front of him at third. Not like we could string hits together. I'd say we used the wrong pinch runner if anything but that's knit-picking at best.

Yep it’s the right call. You got the hit you needed. It took a great throw from auburn and he made it. It sucks but hard to fault anyone there. Just tip your cap on a good play by the LF and catcher for getting the tag down.

2 outs, B9, down 1, runner on 2nd, you are sending the runner on 2nd every time for anything to the outfield. I don’t care if it’s John Kruk on 2nd base and Willie Mays is the LF….you still have to try and score there no matter what. Baseball 101.

I think it’s don’t make the third out at home if you’re down more than one run. That was likely our best chance to score with 2 outs. Unfortunately with Cumbest he hits lasers to LF. I thought it looked like he wouldn’t have a chance but ended up much closer than I expected.

That was extremely bad. Took the bat out of Hines hands with 2 runners on after He had already homered off that pitcher. There is no way to measure how many runs a base running error ends up costing you.

That has never been a thing. With 2 outs, the percentage play is to send the runner if it's going to be a close play at all. Cause you've only got about a 30% chance of scoring him if you leave him on 3rd for the next batter. You don't make the 1st or 3rd out at 3rd, but with 2 outs you send the runner unless it's a fairly routine play to throw him out. You definitely don't want to ever make the 1st or 2nd out at home though.
