There is now an 8 player rotation set--when Wheeler gets back and Sharpe gets to play(he likely will).

Oscar, TyTy, Grady, Wheeler, Toppin, Mintz, brooks, Sharpe. Against georgia, 6 players got all but 8 minutes of playing time.

Ware may be needed now and again--but infrequently.

Hopkins, Collins and Allen are out of the future rotation, getting mop up minutes or if/when an emergency due to fouls or injury occurs.

A 7 player rotation will continue until the Sharpe decision is made.

How exactly does this work?

We win by 15, and you immediately check the box score to see if Cal gave all the bench guys enough minutes?

It's a shame Collins didn't start lifting weights in high school. It puts him so far behind and the SEC is a men's league and he is just too thin now.I hope he works on this and comes back strong for next season.

Collins played against LSU because Baton Rouge is 4.5 hours from home and family. Lexington is 11-12. Look for him to play against Arkansas.

Agreed. Has a lot of tools to become an elite player. But he lacks size, polish, and needs acclimation to the college level. If we don’t get a high quality transfer he could have a big breakout sophomore season in the latter half. Otherwise I like him as a starter his junior year and high first round pick.
Meanwhile we continue to run Lance Ware out there instead.
