Pisgah is not Tuscola. Every game from here out will be a challenge. Focus in and get better everyday. It's us against the 3a world. Let them never forget the day that they played "THE Mighty Red Raiders!"

Now SHS LION, this is exactly the thinking I am worried about! I don't know about you, but I'd hate to fight a bunch of pissed off mountain boys with nothing to lose.

Come on man. If it wasn't for a fumble and the 2nd stringers....SP would have hung 60 on Tuscola. I don't think Pisgah is 60 points better.

Again, this is the thinking that worries me. I have seen too many games where teams beat themselves while the underdog stands ground. These mountain folk fear nothing and are game for a fight.

We need to play every game from here out with a chip on our shoulders and something to prove. I want Red Raider red *** building daily.

They are kids and anything can happen....but I don't see the RR coaching staff letting off the gas.

Comparing scores and the head to head overtime game (Tuscola/Pisgah) notwithstanding, Pisgah looks to be slightly weaker than Tuscola. The Red Raider coaches can prepare all they want but the players know that this is really a 3rd round "bye". ;)

TW is stirring the pot. He is an East Gaston fan who hears the cheers from Lineberger while sitting on his front porch. Don't be fooled. :)

You can't compare scores as transitive properties rarely ever work out. Tuscola was a more explosive team however I think Pisgah plays better defense and has an offense that can chew more clock. Pisgah didn't blow teams out, it just wasn't their style that allowed them too, but they rarely ever found themselves losing, and they ate up a lot of clock.

Personally I think SP is a better matchup for Pisgah than they were for Tuscola. They match better, strength for strength, especially in the trenches. Plus, Parrott has the ability to test that front 7 of SP moreso than Furgeson.

Im just surprised our Old Pal, Seadog and his lap dog Coonie, decided to emerge from the early season "we give up on the Raiders" slumber they were in ...

Do you really think you can compare scores.Just check out what happened to Erwin or Mallard Creek Friday
Evidently you Raider guys know nothing about Tuscola and Pisgah rivalry. If this year one team would have been 0--10 instead of 10-0 the game would have still been close and would not of surprised anyone in Haywood County or WNC.
As for our schedule which was set two years ago.We beat Asheville,Franklin and Tuscola .Now before one of the cougars fans get on here and tell us how week Asheville was this year they never thought that when the season started.
We lost one game this year Raiders lost four so we know you can be beat but just keep telling your team they have this in the bag .Like Tuscola fans were saying before they met the Bears.

I beg all to please listen to this man. Pisgah is the real deal and wants to embarass us. Better bring our A game or we'll be turning in gear on Monday!

Heelz
Heelz I would agreee that Pisgah being more versatile offensely will create more challenges for SP. I also expect the Tuscola beating will motivate Pisgah to bring their A-game Friday. This game will not be won on paper. SP will prepare for a tougher opponent while keeping their focus on being better this week than they were last week. That is the blessing behind having one of the best coaching staffs in the state.
It just gets tougher and tougher and they will need to bring it again at another level.

SP has a lot to motivate them in this game. They don't assume anything. They are working their tails off preparing for the Bears the same as they did Tuscola. Let our 4 losses provide you hope. Rest easy on that.
You will see a SP team prepared for battle come Friday.

We have lost 4 and Pisgah has lost 1. That is clear proof that we are in serious trouble this week. Listen to SeaDog and everyone please say a prayer tonight for the Raiders.

Big Phillip, I want you to crush Wike and Parrott. Nick Muse, I want you running around the field smashing everyone who gets in your way. Farmer, Mead, Silver et al, Morgan and Walker need to smell your breaths. Eyes open, pads popping chaos, men!

We are the Mighty Red Raiders!!!

Parrott is gonna be bashing the brains in of the poor little raiders all night. And when they finally think they have that stopped our Sophomore QB (Wike) will embarrass you throwing it up to 6-5 fellow sophomore Walker and the always unstoppable Morgan. Done deal

Wike is gonna know that Big Phillip chews wintergreen gum, and from his horizontal view point, Muse and Hamilton's shoe size. Parrott will be pulling a Crest like cramp come the 2nd quarter. 6' 3" Morgan will be blanketed like an old woman's attic furniture. Walker will have max protect duty all night long wishing he was a matador.

We are the Mighty Red Raiders!!!

Who is this Big Phillip? If it's coming from a Raider fan that must make him about 5-9! Parrot is gonna leave the Raiders with a taste worse than mill water by the end of Friday. You're right about Wike knowing their shoe sizes.. He will see see those size 7's as he dives past their feet into the end zone! Blanket Morgan all you want. We still have Rogers, Henson, and Fisher to pass to even with Walker in pass protection.

Big Phillip is one of the best D lineman in SP history. He has buddies across that line who are in the conversation too. You'll know who he is when you see him. Give me his jersey # on Saturday. He'll be 6' 8" by then.

Wike 145lbs? Big Phillip's birth weight!

It's not fun unless you can talk a little trash! Key word being "little" cause that's all the midgets can muster up! You're talking about our little QB... your QB is snack size too!!! It's going to be entertaining watching him try to turn into a pocket passing QB mid game.

That freaking crestrulz started the midgets thing. It only stuck because it's kinda true. However, it is just that, kinda true. Big Phillip and Nick Muse are nobody's midget. Scotty Lee, our qb, used to be but not now.

The one thing South Point better be prepared for is Pisgah throwing it up to that one big wide receiver, particularly in the redzone. They are well coached so i am sure they will have someone adequately sized in that situation to guard him. My Cougars decided we just werent going to cover him, so we lost a game we had no business losing. Pisgah is not the most athletic team in the world. Play hard and tough yes, but they dont wow you with anything.

Seadog I got some secret info you should pass on to your Raider coaches. The Bears have switched offenses and are running the double wing this week. You guys should prepare for that instead. Just trying to help you guys out!

Wonder what the Cubs record would have been playing teams like Crest, Lincolnton, and Shelby?

Albino, Coach Brindley told me differently. Hmm, he's a sneaky bastard. I'm guessing that we are ready for anything except defeat.
